⭐ 1 star – Completely disappointed with this “fake” bowl of bún bò I came here today expecting a proper bowl of bún bò, but what I got was totally off. The noodles were thin like bún riêu, not the thick round noodles that should come with bún bò Huế. When I asked the staff, they just said “That’s how Central Vietnam style is,” and blamed the person who took my order for not explaining it clearly. Honestly, I felt annoyed and misled. If I had known it was going to be served with thin noodles, I wouldn’t have ordered it at all. It felt like I got tricked over a bowl of bún bò, and it ruined my Saturday night. The taste? Terrible. Bland and flavorless — like eating instant noodles with a hint of bún bò flavor. Not worth it at all. If you’re Vietnamese and craving a proper bún bò experience, this is not the place. You’ll just leave frustrated. Never coming back. 1 star.

Highly recommended! Asian Taste in Adelaide has been my go-to spot for authentic and delicious Vietnamese food for quite a while. The value for money is unbeatable—tasty food at great prices! They have the cheapest roll in town, with a pork roll under $8, featuring a uniquely crunchy crackling. It's my favorite choice for a quick yet satisfying lunch. Speaking of the dishes, the special fried rice is a must-try. Their crispy chicken fried rice is my perfect combo. Also, the combination bun bowl is definitely worth the price. I love their fish sauce – it's perfectly balanced. Their salt and pepper squid/chicken and honey chicken are also the best I've ever had from any restaurant. Plus, the staff is very friendly, as they always greets me with a smile. If you're craving authentic Vietnamese food, as a Vietnamese myself, I can say this place is a hidden gem.

I have tried banh mi rolls from this restaurant several times and was never disappointed. The rolls were perfectly balanced in every aspect. 👌 The bread rolls were fresh with pate & butter, and they used fresh chilli🌶. The pork and chicken were cut into small pieces, which I personally prefer rather than big chunks, and there was plenty of crackling in the pork. The price was also very reasonable at $8 for a combination roll compared to other similar restaurants. The service was great every time, and it was definitely worth trying. 👍
