Carl's Jr. Pooraka — Restaurant in Adelaide

Carl’s Jr. Pooraka is a great spot if you’re craving a fresh, juicy burger with that classic American-style fast food experience. Their Angus beef burgers are well-seasoned, and the chargrilled flavor really stands out compared to other chains. I want to like this Carl's Jnr store, close to home, but they let you down so often I can't anymore.

Where to start... Super slow to make food, food Luke warm (i.e. Cheese still unmelted on the burger cause it wasn't heated through), missing chips in my order (after waiting an eternity in the waiting bay), and they can't find advertised specials (surely when it's on the app and webpage the restaurant staff should be trained to provide it). Staff also deliver wrong food to wrong car in waiting bay.

Visited multiple times and slow and barely warm burgers is consistent.

Staff are lovely but clearly quality isn't in the training manual.

Don't waste your $$ here, you just get disappointed.

UPDATE - filled in the survey as requested by Carl's Jnr, requested call back, nothing so far. Love it when companies pretend to care, gives them optics of making an effort, but in reality their actions don't match the...

I bought 2 burgers and in both of the burgers the meat patties were so cold it is like they just come out the fridge. I queried it with the waitress after the first bite and she did not know what to say. She said the patties are supposed to be hot and apologised. Did not offer to remake them or anything else. After looking into the kitchen it does not look like there is anywhere to cook them and you can not smell them cooking. It's like the patties are cooked elsewhere, frozen and microwaved to put on the burger. It's pretty impressive on your first visit to Carl's Jr. It is a little disappointing cause if the patties were hot it might actually be a good burger Received your reply Carl's Jr and tried the link you added.
