Chicken Hub — Restaurant in Adelaide

Rude and inconsiderate! Placed a phone order for a burger with the lot, specifying with pineapple and beetroot. Picked up the food and when eating we felt something was missing, so checked... no beetroot and pineapple. Called Hub Chicken to let them know and I was put on to a woman who firstly challenged the fact that I asked for the beetroot and pineapple. She finally conceded and said she would give me a credit for $4.60 because that is the extra I had paid. (She could see how much I paid so why question whether I had asked for it?) Her manner was rude and confrontational and I was treated like an enemy. There was no consideration for the fact that I had paid for something specific that I didn't get. We usually LOVE Chicken Hub. We would have it probably once a fortnight. Winter was always the best with their carvery!

Unfortunately Chicken Hub has gone a bit down hill recently. Not sure why.

We had the carvery last week and it was very average and the price has gone up heaps! We would usually regularly get the carvery every winter. The veggies use to be awesome, a mix of steam veggies including corn, beans, broccoli, carrot, zucchini.. now the veggies are peas and carrot… very dissatisfied with it last week. We were lucky enough to win a Chicken Dinner Pack through Nova radio station and drove across to the other side of the city to try it. Well worth the long drive.... Hands down the best chips and chicken I have ever had. And they even had ice-cream and cinnamon doughnuts! They definitely deserve their title of Best Chicken Shop in Adelaide! It's just a shame we don't live closer as we would definitely be regular customers, however will definitely go back soon. I really hope Chicken Hub open another shop out in the North-eastern Suburbs soon!
