Initially gave this place a 5 star review. However visited today and it's unfortunately slid downhill.

Firstly ordered 2 x Oat Milk coffees, waiter brought them out and I took a sip and thought it tasted a bit funny. Few minutes later he came out and said "sorry I gave you the wrong coffees that's normal milk" lucky I don't have a food allergy.

Waited over an hour for the food to come out. I'm assuming the girl who initially took our order forgot to actually relay it to the kitchen when she came to our table. Was told it would be "4 minutes", 15 minutes later I went back inside and said we were leaving for the guy to tell us "it's only been 26 minutes".. Maybe it was 26 minutes when the waiter actually realized she had forgotten and put the order in but we were sat there for an hour and 20 minutes..

Poor form

Update to Business owners response is a complete and utter joke 😂 You served us milk based coffees for a start when we SPECIFICALLY asked for oat... Could have been a big deal of we were lactose intolerant. The only one lieing here is you. Check your CCTV we were sat for well over an hour. Even have the dashcam timestamped footage of parking and leaving...

Blaming your customers for your crap attitude and abysmal service shows what you are all about. Your concocted story and timeline are completely made up. We have the time-stamped footage from our rear dashcam, pulling up outside of your premises in the side street, we can even see ourselves on the footage that records for an hour after parking before powering off sitting at your tables and ordering 5 minutes after sitting down... It's clearly evident y'all forgot about the order because the waiter "memorised" it instead of writing it down. But you go ahead living in your own fantasy land of lies and concoctions instead of owning...

The worst possible service I’ve ever received at a cafe. We ordered our coffee orders twice with the young gentlemen. He repeated it and came back a third time with the tablet as he completely remembered the order incorrectly. After 3 repeats of the same order, the coffee order came out wrong and he had to go back and replace my husband’s coffee. We waiting easily over 20-30 mins only for our food to be delivered to the wrong table. When I told the gentleman he had delivered to the wrong table (as the customer on that table had gone to the counter to tell them that wasn’t his food) he did nothing about it until another server behind the counter took those plates and returned them to us. I had watched the previous customer take a fry from our plate. Honestly, was too frustrated by the experience at the time as my husband and I had our agitated and hungry toddler with us also. After advising the team about our shitty experience, they told us they could takeaway our food (lol touched by someone else) and continued to charge us for the rest of our bill. 30/40 mins of my life I’ll never get back. We never ever feel the need to leave reviews or complaints but this experience will honestly be remembered as the worst cafe experience for me...

Visited a little while back but didn't post a review because I was so disgusted with the level of "professionalism" I didn't think it deserved one.

We were seated for over an hour outside and still didn't receive our food order. I went in multiple times to the counter to be told " it'll be about 4 minutes" the first time I went in. The next time I went in, it somehow changed to 10 minutes. Having worked in hospitality for several years, I do understand that things get busy and confusing, however to be told by the owner that we've only been waiting for 28 minutes is just a plain disgusting and rude way to speak to a customer especially when we were waiting over an hour.

Clearly the communication in this place is incredibly poor or perhaps it's just the poorly trained staff or maybe even the bad attitude of the owner. Overall, don't really appreciate being called a liar and unreasonable when clearly no one cares about decent customer service. If this is the way you treat your customers, perhaps you might consider running your business online only so you don't have to see your customers...

Service - 5* definitely. Upon arrival, it was a warm welcome from this lady. Even though it was busy, she managed to smile and serve as well and even gave a choice where to sit. Bid farewell and asked to come back. Absolute 5* service. The owner must be very lucky to have her. She is a GEM! Food - Bacon was beautiful, same as the bun and hash brown. I would love to have lettuce in my burger. That is a personal choice, thus still giving the food 5* Ambience - not too bad. With outdoor and indoor. Could have been better,I've seen lots of cafes with stunning ambience even in the countryside. It is a bit difficult to find parking. We parked one street down and was a disgusting smell walking in the area.

The menu seems to change every two months or so, and by chance they always seem to phase out my preferred dishes (goodbye Congee and Chashu bowl.... .). Which is also a shame as they don't have a website, nor do they advertise their new menus on their social media, and I only find out when I rock up :( Not personally a fan of the new dish Golden Halloumi - ironically it's just too much halloumi and for me was too rich and salty. I loved the marmalade and yoghurt underneath though. The Turkish Eggs is always a delicious go-to dish. Staff are always very friendly!

We had a couple of piccolo coffees that’s were very well made. As you can see from the photo they use Toby Estate Wooloo Mooloo coffee for the espressos, but also had a specialty bean option out from Toby Estate as well. We also had a chocolate, peanut butter, honey comb, raspberry, and mascarpone muffin and a chocolate peanut butter cookie. The cookie had actual peanut butter baked inside of it which was still creamy and amazing.
