I had ordered through the Dominos app for a Chicken supreme and a pepperoni pizza to be delivered. I ordered at 7:36 with the delivery time to be around 7:50 - 8:05. When the order didn’t arrive I called to check at 8:21 where I was told that it had just ‘left the store’ and would be five minutes. I get a text then at 8:31 from Uber saying the driver had picked up my delivery (I didn’t order through Uber so I don’t know why my information was shared with Uber … but obviously the Pizza hadn’t just left the store) I then get a text from Uber saying that my order had been delivered… there was no order at my door. In talking with the driver they indicated that they had dropped the order at the address they had been given which was incorrect they double checked this with me. When I called the store back they offered to send another one … but after waiting over an hour with a hungry child I opted to pick up as there was no guarantee that it wouldn’t be delivered incorrectly again. When I got the the store I was just given the pizza and had to ask to get a refund for the delivery fee… it wasn’t offered. They told me that I would have to purchase the pizzas again and have my delivery order refunded, which would take 10 days. I said that the wait was too long and I wasn’t happy paying twice. I was then thrown a five dollar note which I indicated wasn’t enough as the same order on the app pickup the difference was closer to $10, which I had to bring up on the app. I was given a $10 note (which was half ripped) and one pizza and had to argue out that I also ordered a pepperoni pizza. When I got home I discovered that the chicken supreme wasnt a chicken supreme but some weird custom pizza that didn’t have capsicum but did have pepperoni and bacon. Not what I had ordered. I called the store back and was told that they would send another one out. This phone call was at 9:16 … so almost two hours after the initial order. Still with a hungry child and not willing to wait again I said I wanted a refund. This was denied and I had to push. We’ve been going to this store for over 12 years and never had service this terrible… when asked why things were handled so poorly, it was indicated that there was a trainee manager on duty. we will not being ordering from this...
Read moreVery Disappointing Experience at Domino’s Gillies Plains
Date of order: 3rd September 2024 Time: 10:30 PM Store: Domino’s Gillies Plains
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Domino’s Gillies Plains. We placed an order through the app at 10:30 PM for the newly introduced hot dogs. The estimated pickup time given was 10:57 PM. We arrived at the store before the pickup time, only to find that the order status was still marked as “preparing,” but strangely enough, none of the staff were working in the kitchen. Instead, 4-5 staff members were busy chatting and doing their closing tasks.
One staff member eventually asked about our order and told us it was being prepared, asking us to wait a few minutes. Another staff member then asked us to move away from the customer area as they were going to mop the floor.
We finally received our order at 11:05 PM, nearly 10 minutes after the estimated pickup time. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn’t end there. The hot dogs were overcooked and inedible. What we received was nothing like the advertised product – instead of a proper hot dog, we got a tiny sausage with almost nothing to it. It was so far from what was shown in the advertisements and app images.
This is not the first time we've had a disappointing experience with Domino’s. We stopped ordering pizza from them years ago due to poor quality and service, and it seems nothing has changed.
Overall, we are incredibly unsatisfied with both the food quality and the customer service. Domino’s needs to seriously reconsider their operations if they want to retain customers.
Thank you, Domino’s, for another underwhelming experience. I don’t think we’ll be returning...
Read moremy family went to sit down to eat, waited 45 minutes for our food only to find out that they hadn’t placed the order despite us paying for it? no receipt, nothing. when this was addressed to the female cashier with blonde hair, they claimed that it was the driver who put in the order, raising questions why they allowed the driver to accept orders despite not knowing how to use the POS system properly. on top of all this, the girl was present while the driver was placing the order and shouldve done something when the order did not go thru. very weird that she also claimed that there was no refunds done at the restaurant, considering on the garlic bread holder that if there were any complaints, a refund could be allowed. when leaving the restaurant after finally waiting another 20-30 minutes, when we returned the compensary garlic bread for waiting, the brunette cashier and another female worker at the front laughed at us, no apologies nothing just an “honest mistake”. as someone who has worked in a similar restaurant like this, refund policies are 100% meant to be in place and having no respect or sympathy for the customers is just disgusting. i hope there is a change in the...
