Fasta Pasta — Restaurant in Adelaide

My mum has ordered takeaway three times with specific instructions for the pasta to be gluten free due to serious dietary issues. The first time she got extremely sick after one bite as the pasta used was not gluten free. She gave them another chance and thankfully the second time her meal was prepared correctly. Last night she ordered again for the third time in the past year. The lady who took her order checked with the kitchen that her meal can be prepared gluten free. Unfortunately this lady failed to add the gluten free requirement to the order and my mum again received pasta including gluten. She is now extremely sick in bed again and as she requires surgery next week this is now put at risk. It is extreme negligent for a restaurant to ignore dietary information as it can have serious repercussions. I can only guess at how many people in their local area that Fasta Pasta at Golden Grove are harming. I request some intensive training be conducted to educate the staff of the importance of preparing meals correctly. We will never be able to take the risk of ordering from you again and wish to communicate to everyone with dietary requirements to avoid this...

This review is purely on customer service. I come here with my family maybe 3 or 4 times a year and every single time I'm amazed at how incredible the staff are.

From the moment you arrive and are greeted at the door within seconds, to the smile as they give you your bread. Heck, they even smile and say thank you as we walk away from our table that's usually covered in pasta and mess. Never a hint of anything other than a happy face.

Having worked in customer service for a long time, this team has ALWAYS been something I'm impressed with. My family and I look forward to coming back.

UPDATE: Back again. And the person at the til made a simple mistake and put through an extra meal. When meals were delivered and they realised, the manager immediately came to our table, kneeled to me (to avoid disrupting others in conversation ) and apologised. He told me to come get it refunded and told me I was welcome to have another drink as an apology for the mistake.

Seriously, this is why we come back. Customer service is phenomenal. Once again, as we left with the mess our 4 kids made the waitress said "thank you so much". What!? No, thank...

We had lunch here again today - the whole staff gives you a warm friendly welcome when you arrive - the meal is at the table quickly and served with a genuine smile - we had a lunchtime special, lasagna with salad and chips - fantastic - the restaurant is spotlessly clean - and when you leave you receive a lovely goodbye - this is a A1 place to eat - well done Fasta Pasta Golden Grove and happy 40th anniversary! We will certainly be back again soon!!
