They certainly keep up the standard of what's expected from the people of Golden Grove. The place was packed last night (Sunday). The guy who greeted us straight away (I wished I got his name) did exceptionally well getting us an empty table, I saw him go to every staff member to try to organise one. After that, I only saw him come out the kitchen once- ☆☆☆☆☆ stars for this guy. I understand staff are kept very busy. I sit & wait to order, this 1 blonde staff member who is attending to everyone, I think she seen me looking, she attends to another table near me, she finishes & walks to the next table, I'm sure she saw me looking at her this time, she finishes, I'm sure she saw me this time but she walks over to the other side of the room to another table, the people at that table obviously noticed me waiting all that time, as they talk to her, they point over my direction, oh yes! she takes her time to walk over to my table hmm! Just because I come in dressed in a black hooded jacket doesnt mean my money ain't good enough. The food is very well presented, although the very different meat dishes we ordered(Khmer chargrill chicken & beef in black bean sauce, all had the distinct taste of peanut satay in them. I think the chef needs more practice in knowing how to make the flavors of the food fuse together. Over all the presentation of the restaurant & food ☆☆☆☆☆ stars & is what will keep this...

Very lovely staff, had a little crush on one of the gals my oh my she was gorgeous and a sweetheart to say the least. The really tall Viking looking guy was super sweet and made my day.. only downside is that dang front door, especially after eating all that food I struggled to fit through caused myself lots of embarrassment ...
Read moreWe ordered take away, had an extra large nasi goreng, a king prawn satay noodles and a salt and pepper squid. Green Ginger was one of the more pricey options in the area but we decided to give it a shot because we had an entertainment book voucher, which was refused because we were ordering take away, not that it had any mention of that on the voucher.
The nasi goreng was beautiful and so was the satay noodles. However the king prawn satay noodles only had 2 prawns in the entire dish! That was incredibly astonishing. Also the salt and pepper squid was chewy and under seasoned.
Ended up paying just shy of $40 for that. Should have stuck with a cheaper option, they always give you more than your...
