Hilltop Pizzeria — Restaurant in Adelaide

This pizza shop used to be a family favourite, so much so that it was my father's last proper meal. However recently something has changed. The pizzas have become rather bland and the bases don't even seem as nice. Being loyal, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but each subsequent order was just as ordinary. As they've jacked the price up $4 a pizza, it's now also overpriced. I get that 2023 prices have gone up, but quality going down with it doesn't work. A local shop - which I used to consider inferior - is now comparable and actually a bit better, while being much cheaper. No longer worth the 10 minute drive to get here. Only gave 3 stars for historical purposes too, right now it's barely worthy of that. So...

Ordered thru Menulog at 6.00pm and email received said approx del 6.45 - 7.05. I rang the store around 7.45 and was told it had left and was 10 mins away. Rang again at 8.15 and again told the pizza had left and would be there in 10 min. Now 8.30 rang again to be told that I had provided an incorrect address and phone number. We order from you every week, not sure why I would alter my address ??. Pizza delivered at 8.50 stone cold. I understand you get busy, but to blame your customers for the issue is an issue in itself. This was not the first experience of this with you thru menu log, the previous 3 had also been far from hot. We very much enjoy your pizzas but will not be ordering again. Consider another...

Average pizza. Of late too many inconsistencies, undercooked, overcooked, incorrect orders. What worries me is, You provide feedback to hilltop pizza and they shut you down and or don't listen or try and assure you that they trust they're team amd that the information As a repeat customer i am providing couldn't possibly be accurate. What ever happen to customer is always right? So, then families are left out of pocket. Pizza nights are ruined. Most restaurants or takeaway places offer a voucher or an apology at the very least.

I won't be returning. I have given HTP way too many opportunities now.
