The Indian side of the menu might be ok.... but I highly recommend NOT to go to the Mexican side.
The service was friendly and warm, at least.... but the food was not.
Potato skins and Jalapeño poppers were certainly the highlight of the dishes....
Nachos tasted like stale chips, jar salsa and guac that was pre brought - no freshness at all. (I also read a previous review that they Nachos were 'Next Level'
Burrito had very little filling in it and was luke-warm - no flavour at all and was mainly tortilla
The restaurants atmosphere and and ambience was less that to be desired, freezing cold, music on a TV that was either really quiet or INCREDIBLY loud.
And noticeably, everyone ordering takeaway was waiting at least 20-30 minutes.... (we were the only ones dining in, so was very obvious)
At least the pricing was relatively on the cheaper side, but maybe put the prices up so you can use quality and quantify the ingredients.,
I can see that they are trying to make their establishment different, but seriously, take the...
Read moreMy partner and I got take away for dinner tonight. We ordered a butter chicken burrito, chicken nachos, beef potato skins and garlic naan. Garlic naan - Couldn't taste the garlic at all, may as well have been plain. Butter chicken burrito - The listing says "Oven baked flour tortilla filled with cheese, beans, lettuce, corn, onion, rice, sour cream and salsa". The 'burrito' I received was butter chicken and rice, maybe a touch of cheese but none of the other ingredients listed. I would be surprised if it wasn't a packet tortilla, not oven baked, and the butter chicken was average to say the least. Potato skins - Listing says they're crispy.. they were the soggiest potato skins I've ever had. Shredded chicken nachos - The chicken was sliced into chunks, but also my partner had to dig around in the chips to try and find chicken as there wasn't much on them at all. There were also no jalapenos as advertised.
For the money that we paid for this meal, i am extremely disappointed, do not recommend, don't...
Read moreKeep driving. Intrigued by the name and a love for both mexican and indian cusine, me and my partner decided to give this a shot. We ordered takeout onion bhaji, nachos and a vindaloo burrito. Excited to unwrap when we arrived home, the smiles were soon wiped off our faces, the bhaji was an oil filled mess on a dismal bed of old lettuce, the nachos soggy, so soggy the beans even left a layer of black liquid and oil on the bottom, it was even lacking the usual toppings. My vindaloo burrito was a complete disaster, not a hint of spice, just curry and rice folded into a wrap that decided to pour out from the bottom. The menu stated the burrito included cheese beans lettuce sour cream and salsa, none of those were included on the burrito. Wont be trying again. Id leave zero stars but unfortunately i had no option but to give atleast one in order to leave a review. Sorry Mr. Tikka...
