Kimura Sushi — Restaurant in Adelaide

This is an edited review. My first experience here was good. Staff were helpful, the place was pristinely clean, and the food was as expected. My second visit was similar but noted cold fried food on the belt, but my third.. had issues with food left too long on belt (lots of food), deep fried food that had gone cold - and when I requested a fresh one, what I got appeared reheated (Deep fried again) and one of the items "Crab claw" was clearly 'off'. I understand it was Christmas period, staff may have been away, and I initiated a food service inspection of which the council is working with the company. That report was not damning, only that some "education" needed to occur.

I have been past this venue since, and noted the belt is no longer overloaded too long. The inspector has assisted staff in setting up better practices, and I am satisfied that their business is operating much better.

As for the cooked seafood - that is supplied by a central vendor who supplies all sushi places and the failure could have been anywhere in the process supply chain. Now, when and if there are reports of spoilage from a customer, I am told there are better processes in place to remove items and inspect the rest of the items in storage.

These are good outcomes so I have upgraded my reviews from devastating, to simply "4 star". I do not wish or believe this experience I had should damage the company or outlet and I believe the problems I encountered no longer exist. So.. would I recommend eating here ? Yes. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kimura Sushi in Lightsview and it was an exceptional experience. The Japanese cuisine here is truly amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and the service throughout the meal was impeccable.

The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, showcasing the skill and attention to detail of the chefs. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and it's clear that only the finest ingredients are used.

In addition to the sushi, I also tried some of their other dishes, and I was equally impressed. The tempura was light and crispy, the ramen was rich and flavorful, and the gyoza were perfectly cooked.

The ambiance of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, making it a great place for a casual meal or a special occasion. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend Kimura Sushi for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to come back...

I had such a fantastic experience here! The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Every bite melted in my mouth, from the classic rolls to the specialty creations. The portions were generous without losing any attention to detail.
