I visited the McDonald's drive-thru at Reynella on South Road. I waited in the drive-thru for nearly eight minutes without receiving any service.
As shown in the dashcam footage, we initially waited at the speaker for several minutes without a response. Assuming the speaker might be malfunctioning, we moved forward to the first window. Again, we received no acknowledgement or service. We then proceeded to the final window and waited there for almost four minutes, clearly visible to the staff inside.
Despite our presence, we were completely ignored. Staff appeared to be preoccupied with saying goodbye to colleagues who had finished their shift at 11 PM. Two of those staff members were managers who stood at the registers chatting, paying no attention to us at the drive-thru window.
I eventually parked the car and went inside to raise my concerns. When I asked why no one was serving the drive-thru, the female manager denied the issue outright, claiming she had been serving the entire time. I pointed out that I had been waiting over eight minutes, which she dismissed as untrue — however, my dashcam footage confirms the delay.
While I was speaking with the two managers at the front counter, two off-duty team members seated in the dining area came over and began to berate me. Read moreThe worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Every single time in the drive through they forget part of my order. I ask for the rest of my order to be told its all there. When I show my receipt and what is missing I continue to get told no they didn't forget anything. I have to pull all my food out of the bags to show that they did indact forget part of my order. Worst service tonight though by far. After I ordered and paid I waited nearly 14 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers, a 3 nugget meal, some fries and mcbites. Rang the store to complain to get the most disgusting responses from Aiz there so called manager. He thinks its fine I had to wait that long because he couldn't organise his staff to make sure they had mcbites cooked. Thought it was funny. When I said most other fast food places offer a free fries or drink for such a long wait his response was why should I give you something extra when all you did was have to wait ?? Are you kidding me. Disgusting. If you can't organise your staff to have the food on then maybe you should be stacking shelves at woolworths. Read moreAttended this store ANZAC Day 2018 - just after the parade at Morphett Vale. The store was undergoing renovations, and they pretty well had ALL their staff on. The store was quite busy with a long line of customers waiting. All of the staff were working extremely hard and professionally and were to be commended for remaining calm. However the manager in charge on this day was absolutely despicable. She was a large, rough looking woman with disgustingly greasy hair manning the coffee machine. She spent the entire time we were there barking at the staff who were working their butts off. Her tone, attitude, language and total disrespect for her staff and the customers in attendance was absolutely disgusting. I must have been quite obvious with my reaction to the way she was speaking to her staff as one other customer in attendance turned to me and commented how appalling it was to see a manager treat her staff this way. If we had not already paid for our coffee and breakfast we would most definitely would have left the store. There was no need whatsoever for the way she behaved, and I sincerely hope she is absolutely embarrassed if she reads this review.
