We were looking forward to dining here but were sorely disappointed with the experience. Staff were friendly enough but appeared to be clueless about table service. On a quiet night with only a few couples in the restaurant, it took 45 minutes to get our first drinks and our entre. It would've been a good idea to clear the tables before bringing out subsequent courses as well. The food was also very average. The chicken tiki entre was bland and dry, while the Malaysian beef curry was also lacking in flavour. Sorry, but I expect better than I can make at home. The lamb Korma was ok, at least that had a good spicy content and medium heat as ordered. We left most of the naan bread because it was doughy and under cooked. Read moreI ordered tonight takeway and thought it's a cold night and the Bombay Beef is just the ticket. I was pretty hungry and when I got my food well it wasn't what I actually ordered. It was lamb and I hate lamb I know the difference between lamb and beef, lamb is kind of oily in taste to me and a bit gamey. This is the second time I've ordered a beef dish and ended up with lamb, you can't disguise it even with all the flavours. I ate the rice and onion bhajis that was it. I like the food here but if you don't have the meat, don't substitute without asking. I won't be eating here again...
Read moreSpare of the moment 'dinner out' as was tired and yearning for something spicy. Paradise India did not disappoint. Hubby and I shared a Bombay beef and Lamb Korma plus rice. Oh wow! The flavours were out of this world. Not a scrap of fat on the tender diced meat. Gravy i would love to replicate. I want to adopt the chef. Perfect portions, excellent friendly, punctual service, linen tablecloths and serviettes, spotless restaurant. Indian music/video at correct volume. Wonderful indeed....
