Called to place a pick up order at 9pm on a Friday night (closing time 10pm). The girl who answered the phone normally, but straight after asking to place a pick up order. Her reply was very sharp and rude "we're closed" I questioned this as there was still an hour until closing. Her answer was "I don't make the decisions we're closed" again rude and abrupt.

Now if some thing pops up fair enough, a polite "sorry we have to close early (insert reason) apologies for the inconvenience. Even "sorry we are having a busy night and have had to close orders early tonight" would of been better. But what do you expect service is normally ehh to begin with not terrible but not amazing. This topped it and caught me off guard with how rude the lady spoke.

Food normally takes alot longer than expected, could probably order in port wakefield and still beat them. The food is not bad not amazing but doesn't make you want to throw up.

Have also witnessed one of the cooks wipe sweat off his brow with the back of his hand, then continue making food. Luckily not our food at the time but still grossed us out a bit whilst waiting for our order.

After tonight it has now been pushed in to the will not return category. My partner does enjoy their chicken burgers so is still disappointing. If you like rude and slow service with slightly above average food you'll enjoy burgertec...

MANAGER PLEASE READ The food is decent but not a traditional take away place. I would like to keep this review concise as there's heaps to cover. Basically the food is around a 7 out of 10 Collectively. The booths are amazing and the game consoles they have are truly hitting my heart with love. Although everything looks tip top. I've been here twice and have counted up to 5 health code violation. 2 really stood out. 1. Not using anything to safely move hot oily food from tray to container. The man was pouring the chips straight from the oiled cage to the container and was dripping oil all over the floor. Its a slip hazard and you could burn yourself mate. 2. The lady that handles the money and the front in general was also doing the burger prep. She handled a tomato and then handle the register not taking off the glove or changing it. My mother is allergic to tomato so things like this can be very harmful. Please fix issues like this before we have to see another...

Dude....the Texan burger combo, erry'thang burger combo, super Nintendo and the ability to uber eats, what more can I say, if you are man, lady or non gender specific person that specifies themselves as a dolphin warrior lord from Jupiter....you need burgertec in your life! I was honestly devastated when the fiery greek went under, didn't think I'd ever get over it, only to eventually see a blank canvas transform into the glorious building that it has become! If you haven't dabbled in the glorious burgers, snacks and treats that are on offer here, you haven't lived! Do yourself, your children, your family and me a favour, get down to burgertec and feast on the fruits...

I'm a bit on the fence with this one. Positives: the chips are amazing, I liked the novelty of having old console games at the eat in tables, the menu selection was good, pricing was pretty decent. We paid for a OG burger, a Colonel burger, chips, a can of drink, and a sauce for just over $30. Negatives: burgers were okay, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. The restaurant was pretty dirty, and we visited early in the night so it wasn't due to a busy service. Ultimately I feel the pros and cons balanced. If the food was better I'd probably visit again, but it's not really worth it for sub-par food in my opinion.

had some free time while we were around the area decided to give this place a try. absolutely did not disappoint staff was lovely and helpful, service was very efficient and our food came very quickly. definitely one of the best burgers i’ve had in a while, not to mention they even had tvs set up with nintendo to speed up the already quick wait. i think of myself as quite the chip connoisseur and these were by far the most delicious chippies i have ever eaten. was on the pricier side but gosh was it worth the money. definitely will be back next time we’re in the area.

I struggled to enjoy the food here with vegan burger and chips for $22.50. $2.50 for a bit of sauce that wasnt enough is a bit steep. I regretted not getting a drink because the patty was very dry and hard to swallow on what seemed like a wholemeal bun. Chips were okay but seemed like they'd been deep fried twice or something, very oily and dark in colour. Was not provided the napkins or table water. The best thing was the Nintendo 64 I could play while I waited for what seemed like a long time.
