I want to start of by saying the gent behind the counter (I assume he's the owner or manager) is always A+ 120% customer service! i've been here a few times now and it doesn't matter if the place is packed or if it's quiet you always get the same friendly smile and attention to your order.
I love to support small businesses as much as I can but it's so hard to do so these days when you compare what you pay for at a cafe vs a major takeaway chain. I'm always happy to pay more for the small local guy as long as the food and drink is at least good enough you would tell someone else to go there.
$38 today for a zucchini slice that had zero flavour, a breaky wrap that tasted like it was just egg inside, a slice of cake and a iced coffee. I can buy a hot coffee that requires you to make the shot, heat up the milk and spend more time and energy to make for $4 less than an iced coffee?? I don't see how that makes sense, but it's heart breaking to walk out, take a bite or a sip and say to yourself. I'll just throw this out and get a coffee from a bigger chain where it's not burnt and is drinkable and some food too because it at least has seasoning, sauce and flavour.

Feedback for the owner/manager's consideration: both coffee's very weak and milky. The crema too frothy/bubbly, like old-school 90's Kmart restaurant frothy. A Piccolo is also served in a 90ml glass. 😬
You have a great coffee machine there which can do wonderful coffee things! And if customers are paying Melbourne prices please consider professional barista training for your staff. There are fantastic milk products specifically available for coffee, which can help with the crema issue for alternative milk. Would love to come back and try again, and really hope this honest...
Read moreNot impressed with blond employee, who didn't listen to my order and ordered wrong andcwhen I went up to discuss she attacked me verbally putting her words into my mouth, I had to tell her to stop and she wouldn't, does she not know when people place an order they do know what they ordered not what she presumes. You should never b attack a customer and should not discuss with other customers as that is not proffessional, I think she may need to take permanent holidays, if it wasn't for another employee who tried to console me, shows where the problem is in your business, she knows how yo turn customers c away and won't accept responsibility fir her own mistakes yet...
