Snitzel not as big as photos online and partner was able to finish it and he eating heaps less than he used to (skinny guy sitting next to us also finished his Switzer also, so they not that big)!!! Still no garlic bread or cheesy bread (2nd time in fortnight they not have it& never serving it since they opened months earlier-so why not put sticker over it on menu& say not available, they only offering garlic pizza, which we don't enjoy)!!!! The snitzel4hubby& chicken breast i ordered both came with prawns (plural) but I only got2& hubby only got 3, that's pretty pitiful really, if prawns included in a meal, u expect at least 5 or 6....... Never seen a rose' sauce that was bright orange, they usually light pink?? We ordered side serve of curly fries, it came out in a huge bowl and only 6 were curly fries, rest of bowl were full of tiny pieces of potato=extremely disappointing! These vegetables that came with my chicken were not only stone cold, but raw& hard, coz they had not been cooked hardly@all (thought I was eating raw carrot& broccoli=not pleasant when expecting steamed vegetables) & roasted potato was not crunchy nor warm nor fluffy in middle, so a let down so maybe call it fried potato if not going to do it properly??? None of the staff that served us could answer any of our simple questions& half didn't even come back with the answers and couple couldn't even lay the tables4us, giving us glasses but no bottle of water and not telling us there was no table service even though we were given menus @ the table2choose meals from!!! During our meal, while still eating, without any warning from staff, all the lights in restaurant were suddenly turned out and we couldn't see our plates to eat from coz so pitch black, just so staff could sing happy birthday to table celebrating, that appeared to be friends of the owner/manager-thx4the Heads up guys, not very nice or professional of you to give other customers the courtesy then....... Really don't get what all the raving is about this place??? Hope other people have better experience than we did on both our visits, or this place won't be...
Read moreMany moons ago, I heard a tale of devilishly large chicken schnitzels in the suburb of Seaford. I sought them out, taking with me my two favourite people. Together we finally found it, our discovery could only be described as akin to finding the holy grail.

Upon entering we were greeted and seated by a very friendly and cheerful member of the staff. We sat down and began perusing the vast and assorted menu. That's when I stumbled across it... I had to pick my jaw up off the floor because right before my eyes was a page full of schnitzels.
I thought long and hard about which one I would eat and decided on a meaty delight with cheese, sausage, bacon and pepperoni on it. I crossed both my fingers and my toes hoping for an especially big schnitty. In not time at all, two of our schnittys had arrived and were looking absolutely ravishing. Unfortunately we were still waiting on a pizza for the third member of our party. Being the respectable people we are, we decided to wait for the last meal to be served. It took a bit longer than we had hoped, pretty sure somebody may have forgotten about it somewhere along the way but eventually it turned up.
By this time I was famished and I had the biggest schnitty I'd seen in front of my eyes. I got into it, quickly smashing through the delicious chips before arriving at my prize. The chicken was thick and juicy and just absolutely enormous. The meat toppings were delectable, adding perfectly to the base of cheese and tomato sauce.
As hungry as I was before my meal, I still couldn't get through it, they had just done a magnificent job at filling my tum. A staff member approached us and I graciously accepted a doggy bag to have the rest later on.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely as well, plenty of families around and ample staff to help people's needs. We sat in a booth and very very happy and comfortable there. The bar area was also very good, well stocked and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Overall, an excellent outing and just a splendid evening. I will absolutely be returning so keep the schnittys...
Read moreTable of 12 for dinner. Service was dreadfully slow and cumbersome. For example the drinks were brought to the table singly or in pairs rather than en masse. Seemed to be no coherent communication between barstaff and the drinks waiter. Beers are the usual bland range with nothing worth mentioning. Re the food, two of the mains arrived cold and had to be sent back and the other mains arrived in a very haphazard manner and several people had finished theirs before the last two were brought out. Note to management - food for a table needs to appear at the same time so maybe educate your kitchen staff or employ more so they're not as stretched. All in all very poor service that shouldn't merit even one star. The food that did arrive hot was quite good though. Lastly the restaurant was very noisy and it was difficult to hear others at...
