First thing you notice from this place? The service! Friendly staff greet you upon arrival with a big smile, a warm and inviting energy, and make you feel wanted to be there! They ask you about your day, help with your order, and make sure there is nothing they can do for you and your happy

The marinated meats dripping with juices over the coals behind you, making you lick your lips.. this unfortunately.. one of biggest downfalls..the marinate

My guess is that so much effort has gone into the marinate. It becomes overpowering and takes away the natural flavours of the meats. I always order a combo whenever ever I get a yiros, and this may have been the first time I couldn't tell which meat I was eating. I do love the chips in a yiros option, yet I didn't particularly enjoy them this time, and found them slightly sloppy, yet my partner seemed to enjoy them and the way they absorbed some of the juice Chips and gravy pack was okay, well sized, nothing special but not bad. Gravy was not my style but not bad, just the healthier style

The prices.. not great. Yiros are probably decently priced if they could nail the flavouring Fish packs, snitty packs, sides.. all on the expensive side Kids menu needs to be re thought out, if it wasn't for the smiling staff who engaged conversation with my kids and made sure the family was comfortable and happy sitting out the front, in the shade with a nice ocean breeze coming from the beach 200m up the road, we probably would of left just due to the pricing

This was my first experience at this establishment, I can say it won't be my last as I make it a mission to try multiple items on all my local menus If they can tone down the marinate, and get the meats tasting how they look like they should sitting behind the counter cooking over the coals and perhaps rethink some pricing, at least for the kids meals or offer a deal for cheaper kids meals with 2 yiros.. I will change this to the 5 stars I...

I picked up some fish and chips for dinner tonight , which is a rare event for us as its not a cheap meal anymore and sadly we were bitterly disappointed , first of all the prices and menu options on the website didnt correspond to the prices in store and when I queried this there was no real answer provided I ordered the 2 pack of fish and chips butterfish crumbed which is priced about $17 on the website with a choice of 2 salads but the in store menu is approx $21 with no salad , so I ordered that and 5 pieces of calamari , the calamari was tough and wasnt properly crumbed as per the photo , very disappointed , we have a choice where we spend $$$ especially when cost of living is an issue , and as much as we like to support local business ,this is a luxury for us as pensioners to buy a take away meal and sadly we wont be coming back the cost does not justify the quality or value for money at...

We don't like to give bad reviews, but this has to be mentioned as it is a food and safety issue. We ordered fish and chips. Got home and the fish was missing. Went back and they apologised and gave us a free pink mousse dessert along with the fish. The chips and fish were dry and the batter wasn't crunchy. We were very disappointed. Thinking the dessert might be a nice treat, after putting a spoonful in our mouths, it tasted bad. It was definitely 'off'. No use-by date on it. Once we'd taken a couple of spoonfuls out we could smell that it was rank. We returned to the shop again. Again they apologised, saying they normally have dates on them, and gave us a free apple slice. It also had no use-by date on it, so it went straight in the bin. I'm sorry to say we won't be back.
