Sidewalk Cafe — Restaurant in Adelaide

I was going there almost every second day and they would mess up the order about half the time despite me ordering the same thing every time and it all being written on the docket they print off that they use to know what to make.

One day after getting the order messed up I went back there to have it corrected, I was asked for the docket and told them I didn't have it because it's a sandwich and that I don't keep dockets for sandwiches, After saying that I was then was told that what was made was what I had asked for (lied to), Then after saying it wasn't the lady organized for the sand which to be remade and told me to never come back.

Just went and ordered my usual and I noticed the woman that heated my food not only wasn't wearing gloves but grabbed a dirty looking cloth (also didn't even rinse it first) and wiped a chopping board and then the bench with it and THEN when I asked her to put gloves on she made an excuse and said she didn't touch my food when I clearly saw her touch it as I was standing there watching her! If you're preparing food you should be wearing gloves plain and simple! Learn proper PPE people, very unprofessional. Great little set up, food was fantastic and fresh, and the service was friendly and fast. The only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is the lack of advertising. I have walked past this place several times I did not know they did an actual breakfast, looking at it you would think it's just sandwiches and cake. It's a shame this was not made more clear as I go to this shopping centre regularly and would have spent money here. Of course this will change now that I know, and I look forward to being their customer every time I'm down this way for work.
