I was a little annoyed last Friday night when I went there, I found a reserved sign, along with an "Out of order Sign' on the machine I usually play. I asked the staff what the story was, 'as I was there earlier in the afternoon playing the same machine' and it was fine. I was told by the staff member that the person playing that machine had stopped playing to have dinner,? The staff member then proceeded to say that she put the out of order sign on the machine because it was just about to Pay out, and this machine was the favorite machine of the person who’d moved off to have dinner?. Firstly, I didn't realise that it was the practice of Tavern 540 staff to reserve machines by placing an out of order sign on a machine for people who take more than 3 minutes if not playing that machine, I also stood there wondering how the Staff would know that this machine was just about to pay Out?? Maybe I don't bet high enough or maybe the Diner was a friend of that staff member who she held the machine for, but to me, besides any possible legalities, this doesn't seem right 'or fair' to others who also play that machine, I just want a fair chance to win jackpots as well.. We took members of the Hungarian Aged and Invalid Persons in SA Club , a total of 71 people, to the bistro at 540 Tavern for a buffet lunch today. The variety of food was amazing, but most of all, it was super delicious and plentiful. The service, as always, was efficient, friendly and very accommodating. We personally, have been there many times since some friends of ours introduced us to this establishment and we have NEVER been disappointed. We highly recommend this Bistro to everyone and anyone.
