To travel hours to visit Krispy Kreme indicates extreme enjoyment right?
well, just try to imagine the extreme and thorough disappointment your faced with to finally arrive on a Saturday night to a 24/7 Krispy Kreme chain and they have run out of the powdered strawberry doughnut...the one and only Krispy Kreme doughnut that fullfills my every culinary need! it is OUTRAGEOUS!!
being that this is the manufacturing site i expect that krispy kreme west croydon is more than capable of providing me and the rest of their customers with their full range of endless magical donut goodness 24/7..
My overall experience of krispy kreme west croydon-
awesome drive thru/enclosed with fun facts to read on your drive through to the pay window... I worry about the lack of ventilation in the warmer weather as it can get quite hot and if there is a long wait and this enclosed drivethru is filled with waiting motorists there is a slight risk of carbon monoxide poisoning to those in wait.
clean restaurant environment, tidy toilets, lack of mirrors in the toilet itself.. no one wants to stuff their faces with addictive goodness and walk out looking like an overstuffed turkey.. us women like to adjust our clothing to manage that issue and with the only mirror in the toilets looking straight into the eating area through a glass door that is completely unjust!
friendly staff!
prices- just what is this price difference in Adelaide we pay $27 for an assorted dozen yet its $21 everywhere else? and we don't even have delivery like they do? c'mon krispy kreme you can do better than that! also what is the strange taste in the iced chocolate? anyone else notice that?
overall,i actually love this place..the light fluffy beautiful texture of the doughnuts is just to die for! i am just so ridiculously distraught about the fact that they ran out of so much of their range and only had a small boring variety to choose from and i had to leave without my powdered strawberry doughnut fix! i just simply cannot begin to fathom the reason for this since they manufacture on site and stay open 24 hours a day! seriously, get it together Krispy Kreme.
just to be clear, this would have been a 5 star rating, had they not ran out of my favourite doughnut which i make a 2 hour round trip for once or...
Read moreI had the worst experience at the drive-through around 8:30 PM on July 18th. Two staff members took my order, but miscommunication occurred, and as a result, one dozen original donuts were missing from my order. After paying, the staff only gave me one dozen, and when I asked for the missing one, a young staff member became hostile, repeatedly insisting that I hadn't ordered it. I politely requested another box and questioned her attitude, to which she walked away, slammed the window, and later returned to reiterate that I hadn't ordered the extra box. Fed up with the situation, I decided to take out my phone to record her appalling customer service, at which point she slammed the window again and got another staff member to serve me. In the end, the other staff member took my order and sincerely apologized for the miscommunication that had occurred earlier. Despite the initial unpleasant experience, I must admit that the donuts themselves were absolutely delicious. However, I couldn't overlook the appalling behavior of the one staff member who displayed a disrespectful and unprofessional attitude towards customers. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for...
Read moreThe eating area was grubby ....what looked like chocolate sauce spilled on the floor....one of the staff came out with paper towels and a spray bottle and preceded to clean up the mess..she sprayed the spill then used her foot to clean it up....a mop and bucket would have been better...and to get the chairs steamed cleaned might be a good idea...as they were disgusting....cover them with vinyl and get rid of the material then they can be wiped over with a cloth and soapy water....l won't be going back anytime soon...and by the way while we were sitting there a gentleman came in to change the femfresh bins...he said to the staff member...the same one who cleaned the spill...that he had been pushing the bell ...obviously for service people...for 10 minutes only to be told it didn't work and he should have called the store so they could let him in....umm NOT his job...get the bell fixed or put a note on the door to inform service people it's broken...then they won't waste time ringing a bell that doesn't work and can go into the store to inform staff that they are there....not good enough...
