Why ? Itās more about the poor customer experience than anything else !
Ordered through Menulog at 6pm - rang restaurant (well maranello as the buffalo number is disconnected) at 7:30pm apparently food had left - 8pm still no food delivery. Lodged a complaint with Menulog as apparently by their records food was delivered at 7:37 - and the buffalo aka. Maranello use their own drivers so menulog canāt track. Ring the restaurant again who claim the food has left their store & they canāt control āmenulogā drivers. Asked for a manager but none were available to speak - asked for a managers name to speak to at a later point and apparently this canāt be provided either for āprivacyā reasons.
Now near 8:30pm and still no food or any hope of receiving it or a resolution to the issue, while sometimes things happen the simplest courtesy is honesty, just tell the truth so people have an opportunity to make alternative plans and are not left waiting.
In summary : avoid buffalo, maranello & probably menulog in general - at least UBER Eats can handle complaints...

I proceeded to wait for 40minutes (restaurant listed as 20minutes away), before calling the restaurant back, the let it ring out. It was now pitch black outside and cold. Ā Ā Ā Read morePay attention to the bad reviews! I ordered today through MenuLog and they (The Buffalo) just didn't show up. They acknowledged the order, and sent a text to say it was on its way and then ... nothing. I had no food in the house and the kids were starving. 1.5 hours later I tried to call them. Phone number disconnected. MenuLog themselves unable to contact the restaurant. Are they even still in business? I'm still not sure I will get a refund based on other google reviews. I will have to pursue this as a chargeback through my credit card provider.
