First and foremost, the coffee here is absolutely amazing. As an avid coffee lover, I can confidently say that their expertly crafted cups of java rival those I've had in Italy itself. Rich, aromatic, and with the perfect balance of flavors, it's an absolute treat to kickstart your day with their espresso.

When it comes to their food, The Italian Kitchen Bar proudly serves up typical Italian dishes that are a pure delight to the palate. As much as I adore their brunch options, I can't wait to return for their pizza night specials. If their parmigiana left me in awe, I can only imagine how extraordinary their pizzas must be. No veggo or vegan options labelled on the menu, staff seemed confused when asked which options were veggo or vegan (I tend to order vegan then add eggs, because I'm lactose intolerant). After specifying that I'm dairy free, I was able to order a modified meal without feta but still with egg, The meal arrived with parmesan and no egg, I had to send it back because the parmesan would make me unwell if I ate it. The second attempt arrived without any cheese (success!), still no egg... good enough, and then I chipped a molar on a small stone / something hard found in the mushrooms. The junior team here is trying their best, but the customer experience was amateur hour compared to virtually every other cafe I've been to. Won't be coming back for a while. One of my favourite places i've been to in Adelaide. My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary with The Italian Kitchen and we couldn't have been more blown away. It has such a warm and inviting atmosphere with polite and friendly employees. The owner was amazing. He was so welcoming and friendly. His beautiful italian accent and persona made me feel like I was back on Lake Como. The food and service is unbeatable.
