Urban Rolls — Restaurant in Adelaide

Came in for lunch today and witnessed how terrible they treated a couple having lunch there. The staff rudely came in to snatch the food off the lady's table without telling her anything. Then she came back with the food placed on the table and spoke Vietnamese to her own staff people without saying anything to the lady. The lady didn't even know if she can eat her food. Her husband went to ask the counter if they can eat their food and only the counter staff said yes. When the counter staff came to say sorry, the same old staff came to see what's happening and tells the lady to eat. The lady was so mad she tells the staff to just take her food away but the staff demands the lady to eat saying nono you eat. So rude! We are never eating here and never coming back here again. This restaurant is discriminatory towards non Vietnamese and very rude to...

Found this place by chance - I just happened to be walking by, hoping to come across an authentic Banh Mi for lunch (where “authentic” means actual Vietnamese people making it like they might do in Vietnam).

What a lucky find!!

Good, clean shop with friendly staff. Good range of staple Viet takeaways (Goi Cuon, Banh Bao, Banh Mi, Bun Vermicelli, etc) and iced coffee too.

I chose the combination Banh Mi and a coffee.

The rolls were a little smaller than the usual offering, which was great because I can never finish the really big ones I seem to find elsewhere. The fillings were ‘clean’ (not too pickled, not too greasy, not too spicy), which is another tick from me.

Overall: it’s on the top of my short list for next time I’m looking for lunch at...

We were walking around trying to find a place to eat, stumbled upon this place, line out the door, walked around and came back to order. I didn't like the ladies attitude or the way she acted, she was very commanding and unpleasant to talk to, but non the less we ordered two pork Bahn Mi rolls, mind you she asked if we wanted it with coriander and we said yes, waited a while, finally got our food and we'll... one stem of coriander, that was it, I didn't know that by getting coriander it was a garnish.
