Very disappointing experience. The restaurant was unhygienic, even with bags of rubbish piled up in the window for everyone to see as they walked past. Someone in the kitchen was coughing very loudly, not great to listen to as you’re waiting for your food.
The salmon in the salmon avocado sushi was still FROZEN, completely inedible and the other sushi was drowned in mayo. The gyoza was also deep fried and stale - like it had been sitting there all day.

Read moreThey are always busy but you can usually still get a seat. Have the usual on the train ($4 per plate) but staff attend to you quickly and ask if you want anything ordered. Sushi actually tastes good and great selection for the kids. I would say they are family friendly ,but had a staff(new girl, bigger set and obviously not Japanese) grit her teeth at my child as he nearly dropped his plate. I had to 'gently' remind her I'm the parent and of course we are paying for it. Perhaps she shouldn't work with people? It ruined our experience at the place as we've never had any issue...

But then most of the plates were drenched in Mayo.
Chicken katsu was the worst I've had. The crumb was hard and the chicken texture wasn't nice. The sauce was a weird Mayo sauce that covered the chicken and made it soggy, and was nothing like the dark katsu sauce you get normally get at quality places.
