I am disgusted with the customer service from McDonald's Batemans Bay now. I made an order via Menulog this morning for food and drinks, and when it was delivered, I only received one bag of food. When I called later to report the missing drinks, they spoke to the delivery driver, who falsely claimed she gave me a second bag with the drinks. After going back and forth between myself, the driver, and the manager, I was told they wouldn’t do anything because the driver insisted she handed me the whole order and that I’d have to contact Menulog.
Additionally, I made an order last week from the breakfast menu. When it got to 2-3 PM and it hadn’t arrived, I called the store. They contacted the delivery driver and discovered it hadn’t been delivered at all for whatever reason. I was told that since the breakfast menu had ended, they couldn’t send anything out and advised me to contact Menulog for a refund. I suggested they send something of equal value to my order, but I was told they couldn’t do that, and I’d have to make another order. No compensation was offered.
I won’t be ordering from them again because I no longer trust that issues will be resolved, and there’s clearly a high risk of problems happening. Their handling of the situation felt quite arrogant. They clearly don’t value their customers, so they’re not worthy of my business in my eyes.

After receiving an apple pie that was missing the top third of the apple pie the night before in drive through I wanted to let the manager know so that something could be said to the staff so this did not happen again . The restaurant manager could not care less when I told her about the missing apple pie and just went straight on to saying I had not followed protocol by ringing the store or bringing the product back to the store ( remember we were in drive thru!!).There was no acknowledgment of the issue that I had tried to bring up, no apology for the issue and absolutely no care at all about the issue. I was so disappointed by this managers response I decided to call the store back to express my dissatisfaction at how this issue had been dealt with and how the manager had responded.After the phone ringing out 5 times the call was finally answered by the manager in question who then continued to block me by refusing to give her name, refusing to pass the phone on to another manager and defending her behaviour.The only reason for the 1 star in this review is after lodging a complaint on the McDonalds feedback website the Batemans Bay store supervisor called me back within minutes, acknowledged the issue, apologised for the restaurant managers behaviour and explained many of the challenges the store is currently facing that had influenced the managers’ behaviour. There's either always something missing, or they've given me the wrong item, or my favourite - egg shell in my bacon and egg mcmuffin!!! The rarity is NOT getting egg shell in egg products at this store. On those days, you're best buying yourself a lottery ticket. I trialled eating from this restaurant for a week at random times and each time I went there -HELLO!
I don't know what management can do since my complaints and frustration were met with a blank look from a male manager and another time a female manager managed to fix my order for the three missing items... This has to be the worst McDonald's store I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing.
The store needs mystery shoppers to lift their game.
Some of the staff are quick to back chat and pass the buck when a customer complains.
The tables aren't always clean. There's usually a crowd waiting for their meals with all the self serve machines that fail to really serve the customer's dietary needs.
The toilets are filthy and on occasion have had either missing toilet paper or soap to wash your hands.
Overall, I am sorry to say that you'd have a much better experience with a brick wall than you would dining in this restaurant.
