TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I HAVENT EVEN STAYED AT THE PARK AND NEVER WILL!

Park took my booking and deposit on the 15/11/22 for December 2023. Then this week called me to say that a customer has been coming to the park for 10 years wants my booking and they will be giving him my ensuite site, no conversation entered in to, provided me with 3 options, 2 were to shorten my holiday and the third was for a site that wouldn't fit my caravan. I was understandably upset, the park couldn't care less, I told them I wanted a week to think about my options, then the next day they cancelled my booking and refunded my money. I emailed the Executive Manager of the Group, who also couldn't care less about my situation and was more interested in the client who had been coming back for 10 years. The stupid part is that I was departing on the 3/1 and the other customer wanted to come in on the 2/1, but the park wouldn't even consider asking them to delay their trip for 1 day! Easier to upset me!

I have been caravanning and camping as a Big4 member for many years and have never been treated in this manner.

I will never stay at this park or this group again. I am sure they couldn't care less but I just want other potential customers to know how you can easily have your booking cancelled if they want to accommodate someone who keeps coming back year after year, extremely disgusting an very un Australian!

Nice try BIG4, at least have the decency to put your name to the reply, like I did, I have nothing to hide. As for my aggressive attitude, I am fairly certain most people would become upset when they are told "we would rather upset someone coming to the park for the first time rather than someone who has been coming for 10 years!" Given you took my money, I had every right to be upset. Your pathetic attempt at a response is laughable, just like the attitude of your staff and supposed Executive Management! Your alternative suggestions, as stated above, did not suit, so therefore a useless attempt, as was your pathetic attempt at trying to pretend you gave a S*&t about my booking because you just cancelled it. Again, pathetic excuse at...

We had the elevated twin cabin. We've decided to leave a day early. 100% not worth the money we paid for it. Nothing like the pictures, there is no "view" just trees. No WiFi like it says. Lounge that will fit 2 people. It's tiny. The fridge was leaking and there was a terrible smell throughout which was coming from the stained carpet or the lounge. The cabin actually rocked and was wobbly, when 1 person was in a bedroom walking or tossing in bed you could feel the cabin shaking from the lounge room. The sky light was all mouldy. The stairs and verandah are wobbly and haven't been built properly. The playgrounds definitely need an upgrade, tried the big chess but unfortunately it was spider ridden, broken pieces and just disgusting in general. Should've left and got the refund when we arrived. Definitely won't be back, waste of money. EDIT: Instead of taking responsibility for the disgustingness and outdated/broken fridge that needs to be repaired and everything else I have stated you lie through your teeth 🤔 all issues should be repaired and since you can't take responsibility for it we definitely will not be back and will advise everyone else we know not to go there. Putrid from the so...

We normally stay here in our van but this long weekend we stayed in a waterfront retreat cabin. It really is waterfront! The wind got rather nasty one night and we had a few rogue waves splash up over the rocks and onto our verandah! Great view! Walking distance to town. The cabin seems newly refurbished and is very clean. The lounge and bed are comfy and there is even a second tv in the bedroom. There is a spa in the bathroom and the toilet is separate to the bathroom. Kitchen is well fitted out although I missed egg cups and salad servers. Would be nice if there were a selection of pillows as all 4 were a little firm for us. I should have taken my own pillow. I would highly recommend this park. From the caravanning point of view, the waterfront sites are great and the amenities are clean. Good camp kitchen. Also, it is a small park so not usually busy and over crowded. Perhaps not the greatest for older kids but for little kids there is a small playground and a pool. Fairly safe for bike riding. When the tide is out, you can fish from the beach but remember you are ont the end of the Clyde River as opposed...

Stayed here for a 2 night getaway with my parents. They had a beautiful waterfront cabin, while we had our van. The wife of the park caretakers was lovely and friendly on arrival. We were directed to our site were her husband met us. There had been mountains of rain so the park had been affected. The manager didn't want to grass disturbed, it bit hard when our site was in a slight hollow with grass on entry and exit of site. My husband had to move the van twice to get it in position, disturbing a 60x60cm square of grass. The manager got very annoyed, made some comments and stormed off. He was not friendly after our initial encounter. The park is very well kept, neat and tidy and he is very park proud 👏, but people skills needs work. Park is out of the way. Expect to have to get in the car for everything. Photo... corner site was ours.

Simply one of the best holiday locations on the NSW South Coast. The views and atmosphere of the Bateman's Bay Big4 are spectacular. I was amazed at the sheer volume of (flood debris) drift wood on the beach at the inlet, though quite understandable given the rain events we've had recently. Personally, I "miss" the rattle of the trucks crossing the old bridge, but I have to admit that the view of the new bridge is a pretty good backdrop to a photo opp. P.s. Now that there's no left hand turn off the south end of the (old) bridge, don't forget to do a "loop back" on the south side (of the new bridge) to the old style fish and chip shop on the esplanade, right up near the bridge. Aside from the best fish & chips in town, they still do the best steak sandwiches on the Coast.. By FAR!

Excellent location across the Clyde from the Batemans Bay shops. It takes about 10 minutes to walk over the bridge to get into town. There are also courtesy buses to the local pubs and clubs. The cabins are excellent and are of varying sizes. Have stayed in a small cabin at the back near the entrance and at one with about 4m between the verandah and the water. The park has a playarea and a swimming pool. There are also various BBQ and the camp kitchen along with a coin op laundry. Have not used the amenities block but they have two on site. There is a very basic beach area at the back of the park, but it o ly takes about 10 minutes to drive to the nearest patrolled beach. The staff are friendly and the park is well maintained and clean.
