Mal's Pizza Bite — Restaurant in Bega

The pizzas here are arguably the best pizzas in all of Bega. I can't say I've tried much else from the menu save for the kebabs, but in all honesty the doner kebabs here could do with some improvements. They also do burgers, chips, and a few other things. Their pizzas are their specialty, and they do those incredibly well. The atmosphere is reminiscent of any decent takeaway establishment, with some seating indoors to await your meal. There are more seats outside, allowing you to enjoy the open air and 'eat in'. They also have live entertainment from some of Bega's local talent depending on the time of year. The building itself is old, one of the oldest in Bega. Fortunately the owners have maintained the period features, including the ceiling roses, sash windows and more. It all adds to the homely atmosphere. If ever I'm in the mood for pizza, this is the place I and nearly everyone in Bega goes to. Every one claims they have the best pizza around. But truth is in the act of trying to perfect the perfect pizza, many have lost their way. With ingredients that just don't go well together or a severe lack of toppings. What happened to the good old pizza shop? I have had many disappoints of late. But Mal's Pizza Bite is not only the best feed in Bega but I have just eaten one of the best pizza I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, plenty of toppings, large pieces (bacon and chicken), the base was just the right thickness and the toppings went all the way to the edge. Ate here late night on the the 27th of Dec 2021 as my family and I were coming in for a vacation. The manage on duty along with the rest of the staff were so accommodating, friendly upbeat and helpful. Pizzas were amazing , chicken with pineapple and chilli flakes. Normally I suffer discomfort when I eat pizza and bread or anything gluten however there pizzas was easy on my stomach which tells me it’s homemade with good ingredients.
