The Bellevue Darling Range Hotel — Restaurant in Bellevue

A small, dinky truck stop pop-in dive pub at the bottom of the hill. Indeed, it does have a rustic true blue feel to it but it's still a little rat hotel. I found the cosy but compact smoker charming - a thought that you could extend the tight few rooms that the bar lines. This place is no doubt authentic. The attached pizza and burger bar with its own outdoor area is a pretty cool feature. I only popped in for a wee pint but I can imagine during a buzz if the place fills out on weekend night there might be a raddish atmosphete here.

Upon reading some other reviews and understanding a bit more of the context this pub should be judged on the standards of what it's supposed to be - a very old Aussie workers pub, and it that regard it does a great job. For that experience, I recommend it and the owners should be commended for keeping the bloody place alive, kicking, and preserved.

Bloody great! My partner and I came here to kill some time while we waited for our car to get some work done. We were greeted by Craig and he is just a top bloke! Thank you for your hospitality Craig, you gave us a run down of the pub and made us feel welcome. We threw a couple bucks in the TAB and came of with a win so decided to try their Pizza. THE BEST PIZZA on this side of town, hands down. Thanks Emma for hooking us up with a good feed. We will be back on Monday for the Pizza special forsure. The pub gives you vibes of an old school decor which is pretty cool and to top it off, there toilets were clean as!

We didn't originally plan to come here but we are so glad we did.

The Bellevue Darling Range Hotel is a must for anyone who wants to experience the true, genuine Australian pub. The owner took the time to show me around and talk of the pub’s history and the fairly recent effort by the locals to save it from demolition and development. I’m so glad they succeeded. Service, hospitality and genuine friendliness was greatly appreciated. I had the Pitstop Spicy Cheese Burger that was delicious.
