I ordered from this red rooster on Uber eats, as I was waiting for my food I was contacted by the Uber driver, he informed me that they where refusing to give him the order, he asked if I’d previously received the order and I informed him that we had not, he told me he’d go back and speak to the employee working.
He then messaged me asking to call the store as they were still refusing to give home the order. I called the restaurant and the person I spoke to informed me that someone else had already collected the order and that they would not make any food to replace it. When I explained to the worker that we hadn’t received anything and that our driver was waiting out the front for the order, the worker still refused saying the food was already taken, and that she would not make the order again, because our order had already been collected.
As I tried to explain again that we hadn’t gotten our food, she still refused to replace the order that she had given to someone else.
I then asked her to cancel the order, as I no longer wanted to wait as it had been over 45 minutes waiting for our order to be delivered.
She told me she wasn’t going to cancel it as she had already given the food out.
I then explained AGAIN that I hadn’t received anything and she can either make a replacement order, or cancel it altogether.
She then said she would call me back. After waiting 15 minutes for her to call me back, I contacted Uber support to cancel the order.
Absolutely ridiculous customer service, I’m disgusted that they wouldn’t make a new order, especially since the driver was literally sitting in the car park waiting to collect it.
I won’t ever be going back to this red rooster, and some customer service training is desperately needed.

Read moreUnbelievable i went into this store to order a meal for my mother and myself a couple of days ago. Imagine my shock at the service I recieved while there, I stood at the front counter waiting to be served and the duty manager walked past looked at me and kept walking, the lady in the kitchen area smiled at me but seconds later one of the staff walked past the front counter looked at me and kept walking ! My first thought was they must be busy but no there was only 1 car in the drive through order lane awaiting on thier order. To my utter surprise the staff member on duty at the front counter again walked past looked at me and kept walking as though I did not exist.
Stunned at the severe lack of service I was receiving from the midvale store ( next door to the ampol garage on Great Eastern Highway midvale / Bellevue across from the Darling Range Hotel ) i walked out of the store in total disgust and if i need to purchase another meal from a Red Rooster store in future it most definitely will not be from the midvale store at any time for any reason...

Really my only complaint is that in the drive-thru the person The Young ones do not seem to listen correctly when people are ordering I also felt rushed to order. They do not listen properly in drive through and they stuff up orders, it has been more than three times that the ordered food was wrong or missing food because they are so under staffed its a joke calling it fast food, when you go in to order that's even worse as the person doing the drive through is also doing the front counter which results in them rushing around.
