Delicious food, but service leaves a sour after taste.

1. Forgot to give me the food I paid for. Waited for the 2 coffees & then asked about the food. They insinuated that I had taken the food and hidden it. Check the cameras, 7am this morning. Wanted me to pay to replace the food I hadn't recieved. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Fine to make mistakes when you are busy & stressed, but don't insinuate the customer is trying to commit theft.
2. In that time, I witnessed 2 other complaints. One person paid for 2 regular and 1 large coffees, but received 3 regular coffees. The barista's terse response was, 'What do you want me to do about it?'

I have been coming here since opening and have always looked forward to coming for a delicious pie treat. Unfortunately, on last visit a mistake in our order was delivered by an older lady with black short hair. Her confusion as to where the problem may lie (bad body language gave the impression she thought it might lay with us) coupled with a lack of offering to get us the right thing then trying to charge us for it was not a good example of customer service or the warmth and good service usually shown in bellingen. In contrast the other staff were delightful and look forward to coming for a more pleasant experience next time.

Countless signs stating vegan options available, asked the lady at the counter about a certain menu item but was "sold out", asked what vegan pies were available to which they said they did not sell vegan pies.. when there was a big sign behind the counter saying they did. Ended up asking exactly what they had that was vegan and available, only 1 toastie, and 1 tart (which allegedly is the vegan pie) - to which she said "vegan stuff sells out quick" Plenty of other stuff available for non vegan, why even advertise it so much if you are going to poorly accommodate.
