Pricey. Small servings. Asparagus and mozzarella salad was interesting and tasty but frustrating, with only 4 asparagus spears! Spaghetti primavera uninspiring.

Three years later: Pretty quick service, at least if you arrive early. Great view. The deep fried zucchini flowers are lovely, but the dressing is way too sweet for my taste. The few little peach slices on the focaccia were pretty tasteless, but it was still yummy, with a generous serve of creamy mozzarella. The menu currently displayed on the website, BTW, is not identical to the one presented at the venue. In any case, it is not vegetarian friendly. They condescended to prepare a pasta dish with the risotto ingredients. The choice of pasta is spaghetti, linguine, or gluten free penne. The zucchini and squash were tasteless and indistinguishable. A few mouthfuls of ordinary spaghetti swam in a watery sauce flavoured with garlic and fennel leaves. Now I like fennel as much as the next guy, but it was definitely not the taste I was after in a pasta dish. Furthermore, I prefer a thicker sauce that actually adheres to the pasta. Is that weird? There were about a dozen hazelnuts in the dish, just lying there, not integrated into the 'sauce' in any way. I should add that they were also willing to omit the meat from a pasta dish on the blackboard. I don't really understand why a restaurant would skimp on a cheap ingredient like pasta, unless they wanted to appear stingy and send diners away hungry. Perhaps appearances aren't always deceiving? I ended up having to fill up on a Pizza bianca - basically a cheesy garlic bread - which they served after the dessert. If you arrive hungry, I don't think you can expect to fill up on one entree, one main, and one dessert, which would set you...

Its rare that I would ever post a 5 star review, however I truly think this establishment has earned it. Now, Ive taken into account all aspects, that includes the excellent food along with the stunning location with its superb views over the harbour. Ok, 5 of us had dinner. With 3 courses plus drinks it didnt even hit $100 each!! ENTREES: Calamari Fritti was absolutely superb!! The most delicate tempura batter Ive ever eaten. Mushroom Arancinis were delicious, little garlic pizzas excellent. MAINS: Blueye with Gnocchi, Lasagne, Duck Ragu, Beetroot Rissotto, Chilli Prawns. Superb! The only criticism would be the prawns needed more chilli and the Rissotto was slightly under seasoned. DESSERTS: Rum Baba, Affegatos (sadly they had run out of Cannolis!!). Having never eaten Rum Babas we were slightly underwhelmed. A rum flavoured mousse (?) with a deep fried yeast cake that is soaked with a sweet syrup..."nice"...was the general consensus but there are many more superb Italian desserts. Overall it was a brilliant night, attentive yet unobtrusive service. Well trained staff whose attention to detail was comforting, (call me what you will but I have a dislike of restaurants that bring replacement cutlery and place it on the table surface and not on a clean napkin, which the staff here did without being asked). Cant...

Ordinary at best. We went there because it was highly recommended. We booked a table for the second seating outside table on a busy Easter Saturday. As it was very cold outside we asked that we be moved inside if a table became available. We were informed they were booked out. There was no problem. We placed our order and drinks order. The waitress attempted to open a bottle of wine with a cork and managed to break the cork. We were informed that the wine was 'corked' and as it was the last bottle we had to order another wine. Our entre arrived pretty quickly and it was fine. Whilst waiting for the main, we observed that one if the reserved tables inside was still unoccupied at 8:50 pm. A couple walked up and we heard them clearly tell the host that they did not have a reservation. They were told to wait pending the people who made the reservation not arriving. At 9 pm they were given the inside table, despite the fact that we asked first to be moved. Our mains took nearly 1 and 1/2 hours to arrive. At one point the host came to us and apologised for the delay. We pointed out to her that the inside table was given to a walk-in despite the fact that we asked about it to which she blushed and walked away. The main course was ordinary at best. We won't be going there again...

to; dr: Pizzas were great, pastas were good without being spectacular, excellent service at a small, busy joint. We've eaten here twice, once taking away pizza and another for a good friend's birthday who happened to be when we were in Bermagui. The takeout pizzas were very good, hitting all the notes that you'd want your pies to be. Minimum toppings done well, with a great chewy and crispy base. The pastas were also good without being amazing. The duck ragu was very rich, and the linguine had a generous helping of prawns, with the risotto was excellent. While I thought that most of the pastas were meh, some dining companions (one who has Italian heritage) thought it was very good, so different palettes and all that! Service was also faultless.

A friend recommended this lovely italian spot on the harbor and couldn’t be more happy with the meal we enjoyed there! Lovely upstairs spot, really knowledgeable and incredibly friendly staff, and the food was memorable. We enjoyed the oysters (so fresh!), cos salad (epic), prawn pasta (the little details like chili and crumble were divine) & tiramisu (yum) and wish we could have sampled more. Our only night in Wallagah Lake but best dining experience we could have wanted. Thank you!!
