The best fish and chips on the south coast...if not the world!..freshly cooked, great range of cooked seafood or take home freshly caught fish etc. no better way to enjoy a meal on the Bermagui Harbour...bring a bottle of wine, beautiful seafood and relax watching all the activities of the Bermagui Harbour. ....a must to do if visiting Bermagui. 2019.……Here I am again...doing a review 3 years after my first and last review....Nothing has changed at Blue Wave…… so refreshing to report that Blue Wave are still in the business of feeding the masses the best freshly cooked fish n chips on the entire east coast of Australia! Well done to all the friendly, helpful staff who sometimes work under long and hot conditions ....AND....so often during this busy tourist/summer holiday period have to put up with far too many rude and ill mannered customers ( most likely over stressed city folk) who are in need of a slap around the gills with a few lesson in manners and respect. We 💗❤️💚...

Come during the busy lunchtime. This shop is packed with customers, very likely are tourists who have heard about this must-on fish and chip shop. After orders being placed, customers have to wait outside to reduce congestion.

There are freezers stocked with frozen fish, packed sliced pieces, and other seafood.IBesides these, it also sells sauces, breadcrumbs and beverages.

Due to recent rainy / stormy days, oyster is not available. There is no problem with other fish for crumb-and-fry. The waiting time is not that long, and golden yellow fish a d chips are ready to satisfy my hungry stomach.
