My partner (James) and I (Emily) went to The Fold Birdwood for lunch on the 12th of August.
We were welcomed with warm greetings from the lovely staff. The dinning area we sat in was a lovely, clean and bright room with a warm lit fire.
James ordered the Panini with an iced coffee and I ordered the smashed pumpkin with beetroot and a Oak milk cappuccino. The coffees were perfect!! Hats off to the barista (she was new as she was getting trained by the owner). My smashed pumpkin arrived first and I was instantly blown away with the presentation. Bright colours resting upon a large piece of sourdough toast topped with crispy kale. My tastebuds were in heaven with every bite. Even now as I write about the dish my mouth is watering.
James' Panini was delicious. Perfectly toasted with the right amount of pesto, chicken, bacon, tomato and cheese.
When we finished our meals we spoke with the owner saying about the amazing food and to please tell the chef that he did a fantastic job. She had told me that I was the first one to order the Smashed Pumpkin as it is a new menu dish. I instantly regrated not taking a photo of the amazing dish.
Would HIGHLY recommend you visit this hidden gem...
Read moreFirst time at The Fold today! Exceeded any expectations I had right from the start! Gorgeous homely cottage decorated beautifully gave the feeling of home! We got the pleasure of booking the Parlour Room with its own open fireplace was the most perfect nook to to unwind and connect with my friends! The staff were so friendly, the service was exceptional and the food and beverages did not disappoint and were all outstanding!!! We will be back and I cannot recommend this gem enough to anyone!!! Also good to mention was plenty of great inside and outside seating. Outside is actually beautiful but if you really want to catch up on conversation inside is great as the noise from the road can sometimes be busy. Thank you so much again for making our time their so special! See...
Read moreRecently Ordered 1 x cappuccino - 1 x chai latte 1 bruschetta 1 x ham, cheese toasted crossaint Not busy as it was 1.45pm. Coffees took 20 mins to come out and we finished those before meal was even delivered to table. Bruschetta was $20 for 1 piece sourdough topped with small tomatoes, unfortunately the balsamic was just a smudge on plate and cheese was scarce. Asked for more balsamic please and was made to feel "Really she wanrs more balsamic. Crossaint was luke warm but nice. Coffees were nice but whole meal was not worth" $44. Disappointing
Thanks for your disappointing response however looking at the previous reviews and your reply it's a generic response. Won't...
