Shaun's Fresh! — Restaurant in Boorowa

Came across this place by accident. Had no reception to check reviews etc but was pleasantly surprised!

Shaun's home made pies are phenomenal... Generous amount of meat. Good chunky pieces and great gravy. The pastry was really nice too.

You know how you go to the country places and you think the pie will be good but walk out disappointed... This was definitely not the case.

I also got the chicken sandwich just to try something different. It was one of those normal take away ones that you could get at a servo style ( chicken lettuce mayo on white bread) except ..

They make their own bread so it was a hefty... And the amount of chicken was more than generous. It's probably the best takeaway style standard chicken sandwich I've had that was purchased. I mean don't expect too much it's a chicken sandwich. But it's the best one I've had in that style of sandwich.

The pie is definitely a winner winner pies for dinner. Give it a go. The owner Shaun is also super friendly...
