Visited McDonald's Bowen this evening. I Made my order at 7.11pm, my order was number 97. My mum ordered at the same time, her number was 101. We sat right in front so I could here my number being called out and at 7:25 number 96 was called. I thought my number would be next but number 106 was called. We waited and waited and at 7:40, an employee came out and grabbed our receipt. Not long after, the same employee came back out to inform us that they couldn't make any frappes, this is now 45minutes after we initially ordered AND paid. Even though we were now frustrated with the wait, we changed the frappe to a honeycomb shake even though a price adjustment wasn't given. Mum's order was finally called out at 7:50. The manager was really rude to mum saying that it was the second time they had made the order (even though it wasn't) finishing with rolling her eyes. No apology was given for the wait. Then at 8:00pm we were asked why we were still waiting To which I replied that I was STILL waiting for order 97. Now almost an hour after I'd ordered, they inform me that they had lost the receipt and the order and they now had to put my order back onto the system. Again no apology was given, in fact, they made me feel I like I was trying to steal from them. At 8:15, I finally received my order but by this time mum's food had gone cold since she had to wait along side me. By the time we got home with the food it was close to 8:30 which meant my 3 kids were almost asleep and our takeout evening had been ruined. This is not the first time we've had issues with service. I fact, we almost ALWAYS have something wrong or missing from order however, this is the first time we've felt the need to complain. What a...
Read moreNot sure what’s happening here with the late night staff but my mate went here a couple of days ago around 2am and was told by they were doing a late night clean and he couldn’t be served for a half hour.
I went tonight at 12:10am and they told me they were doing a late night system update and wouldn’t be able to put an order through for about a half hour, just before 1pm.
When I drove past the window where they take orders, the screen on the computer in the window looked on and normal, which was odd because I expected it to be off or updating.
After 5-10 mins I decided to drive back through and sit in the drive through until they were able to serve me. At 12:35 when a car pulled up behind me, all of a sudden they were able to put an order through.
Could be a coincidence but seems unlikely to me. I think the late night staff may be very lazy and giving excuses so they don’t have to serve people.
Then when my food did come out, the patty was cold and burger tasted not fresh at all by far the worst burger I have ever gotten from Maccas and I’ve had tons over the years.

She was struggling to figure out how to do that, (which is okay) so I let her know that I just left Macca's and I told her how she can do it, she was rude and said "yeah but the system is different here". Which, no it's not. Our Macca's have the same owner but anyways she said I couldn't, i was okay with that, and I apologised for any negative tone I may I have had as I wasn't trying to be rude, I know how bad fast food workers get it sometimes. Got our orders, and my mocha which burnt my tongue so bad I couldn't even drink water.
