Asian Kitchen Tingalpa — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Used to love this place but will never go back. They were obviously really busy tonight but that’s no excuse for bad food! We started with the pork belly bao which was soft and rubbery instead of crispy plus mine had bone in it and when I told the lady she said that’s the traditional way to have it. I’ve had plenty at other places and never had any bone (obviously they mustn’t have been traditional LOL) Then we had the Singapore noodles which were average and the honey beef which was nice. We normally love the mango pancakes and they are our favourite dessert but tonight they were completely different and disgusting! The mango is normally fresh or at least defrosted and the cream is usually amazing and thick and tonight they used whipped cream that they bought from the IGA next door and huge chunks of frozen mango. If u r not trying this restaurant u r literally missing something, exceptional food, so delicious, and the freshness of the food you literally can feel it while eating, their papaya salad is so so fresh, crispy beef oh my god how soft, tender and crunchy at the same time, especially the glaze on it makes it so balanced and perfect, fried rice is a classic thing u can’t go wrong with it, and if u tried at this restaurant you gonna love it, beef noodles exceptional as well, leaving without dessert, of course not, their pudding is to die for, u will leave buying at lease 6 of them, but not only the food is excellent, the staff is so nice and friendly, I think its gonna be my weekly ritual friendly staff, delicious food,...

Food was very average for the price, but more experience with take away here made me feel pretty uncomfortable. A staff member behind the counter was sculling a can of coke while serving a customer and would respond to them between mouthfuls. She then proceeded to start eating some type of food off the counter by picking the food up with her fingers and putting them in her mouth, all the while whilst still serving the same customer. This was during a peak hour service, so there were numerous customers in the store. I would find this kind of behaviour pretty unsanitary before COVID but to act so casually and with completely disregard for health and safety was extremely off putting. I...
