Rude and agressive owner.
We parked our bikes against a fence opposite this shop, behind to a table without chairs. There are nobike racks in the area. As there were no chairs here, nobody could sit. With my bike out of the way I went to the shop next door to order food. The manager of Get It India, followed me into the shop, pointed at me and very rudely demanded I move my bike.
The bike was not a safety issue, it was not blocking customers from his shop (a good 3 meters away from his door). I simply picked the place where it was most out of the way of where people walk.
Because of how rude he was I replied that if he decided to ask politely I would move. Finally he said please after arguing with me (saying I "didnt deserve that respect") and I immediately moved my bike.
Wow....just the agression and rudeness toward me was absolutely unneccesary. I really don't understand it but what I can say for certain is that I will never buy...
Read moreThis small Indian restaurant has it all. Great food, great taste, large servings (we dined in, although it is cheaper for take away). We shared the Butter Chicken, which looked small at first, but with the large saffron side rice that came with it, we were only just able to finish the meal! The cheese and spinach naan was super tasty, but could have been a little fluffier.
The only side note to this - more of a request or comment than a complaint: for dining in, it would draw in more customers if the place had more art or hangings on the wall.
Would also be great if there were a Rewardle point system here too. The other good specialty food places in the area aren't that great to look at either but prep people keep going back not just because it's good (as it's also expensive) but the point systems they both have help make it a little less expensive and a little more rewarding...
Read moreI haven’t been here for quite some time because there has been a restaurant closer to me. Recently it has stopped service, probably because it slowly went downhill in quality. For the last 3 weeks I have been craving a good curry and naan bread. You guys didn’t disappoint! The Beef Madras was on point, spicy, creamy and slow cooked to tender perfection. (And thank you for providing enough protein in it that it wasn’t mostly sauce!) the Tandoori Chicken was delicious. Cooked to perfection with lovely, smokey pink inside the meat, and rubbed with some flavoursome spices on the outer. The lamb Samosa were yummy, but my partner complained about there being chickpea blended in the filling (didn’t bother me though!) thank you for a wonderfully affordable, beautifully prepared, quality meal served...
