Bare Knuckles BBQ - Salisbury — Restaurant in Brisbane City

This place has really great bbq and my girlfriend and I love to come here. The food is generally very good and I think you get fairly good value for your money. My only complaints I have, and these are only for the restaurant to look at and hopefully improve as they are the only things letting them down from being fully 5 stars perfect in my opinion.

The interior seating is pretty limited, the tables are awkward to sit around and the qr code stickers are annoying on your arms as they've peeled off a bit.

Often the tables are a little sticky or they haven't been cleaned properly, which I understand it's a BBQ place with bbq sauce, but it's a little unpleasant. The wait for a food is a bit on the long side, we waited close to 30 minutes for our food on a relatedly quiet night. The staff in the kitchen werent wearing any sort of hairnets and we overheard one saying "I actually feel really sick right now" which kind of made us a bit concerned. It was also very warm on the night we went in, it was a relief to get outside as it felt like someone had the heating up too high. My only complaint about the food was that the portion sizes I swear tend to vary a little bit. On our most recent visit also, my girlfriend and I both had very large chunks of fat that were not edible which was a bit of a let down. It probably sounds like Im being very negative but honestly this place has very nice food, and we would prefer to eat in, we just wish these small issues were looked into in the future. We had dinner here and waited about 15 mins in line and then almost an hour for our food. The customer service wasn’t great, we waited in line for around 15 minutes but there was only one person waiting in front of us - think they need more staff. The wait would’ve been okay if the food was great but unfortunately this was not the case. Brisket tasted like roast beef, pulled pork was dry. Chicken was okay but some more flavour on it would go a long way. Pork ribs tasted oven baked and not smoked. Corn had no butter and flavour. And the M and coleslaw also had no flavour. Chips were cold. We spent about $84 altogether and drove a fair way for dinner so we left disappointed.

On a positive note, hot chocolate was great and my partner loved their American drink options. A worker also brought out the heaters as the weather took a cold rainy turn.

Google won’t let me reply to the business’s comment but we got there at 7pm, sat down at 7:15pm (after placing our order) then I timed it from my Apple Pay transaction notification. Homely welcome at the door, friendly smiles and good vibes.

After a massive party the night before and no food myfridge, i started driving around brisbane to find something to cure my hang over, I was very headed and I really needed some food. But im a very picky person so this hangover food needed to be delicious.

I finnaly saw a cool and trendy restourant ahead and pulled in to take a look at the menu.

Jamie "owner" reccomended a bounty of options.. he I such a legend, he really cared and catered for my self inflicted alcoholic hang over 😏✌️. He wanted to feed me..

At 12pm today i ordered an "All Day Breaky Roll" & "iced coffee"

It was the best gormet breaky roll I have ever tasted. Honestly melted in my mouth..i could go on and on about the taste, texture, size, lightly toasted bun, little crunch, the perfect mixture of ingredients etc.. etc.. without giving a full description on the details, I'd rather leave just a little mystery to the person who is reading this reveiw, come in and get the full service, tasty food and great experience that I had.

Oh and He have me a free taster of his brisket and home make bbq sauce.... geeeezzzz......... !!
