As I was growing up from a small kid for nearly 35 years I have been living really close there and I have walk and cycled though Toohey Forest Park I know every single track in there but way back then 30 years ago there use to be trail bikes and dumped cars there and even a repeater station for the public UHF radio network and I have also done 360° photographs there and can be seen on Google street view I did more than a dozen of them but when I was a kid I was part of the movement that protested to thr B.C.C to stop the redevelopment of bush land into new house's in the area but there is a sign in the park that states that the B.C.C saved the bush land from development but that is not true as the locals protested against the B.C.C to stop the reclaiming of land and still today you can find the pipes they put down way back then the only thing that I don't like at the moment is they have turned off the public drinking taps which should be still running because when you go for a walk you have to take your own drinking water as there is none and one more thing is that the aboriginal art work in the caves have been buried by the B.C.C when I don't remember but I could remember going and seeing them as a kid but today when I go walking there it is now under road base which they put there a while ago so the B.C.C claims stuff but the locals at the time knows what really did happen so when you go walking or cycling there take something just in case you hurt yourself because there is no water for drinking and some of the tracks have stairs now so you might need to carry your ride up or down the stairs and look at my 360° photographs to and don't get stuck by lightening during the...
