Golden korean restaurant (황금식당) — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I’ve been to this restaurant three times already (and I’ll definitely be back). If you’re a fan of Korean food, this is the place to go. The mandu (Korean dumplings) are the best I’ve ever had—and I’ve traveled extensively throughout Korea. These dumplings are handmade, not the frozen, factory-made kind so many others serve.

The full meals come with traditional Korean side dishes, thoughtfully prepared to complement the main dishes. Unlike some places that use leftovers or low-quality ingredients, everything here feels fresh and intentionally crafted. If you love seaweed soup, you’ll be delighted—it’s cooked to perfection and a true highlight of the meal.

The staff and owner are incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel welcome and genuinely appreciated every time we visit. Their passion and effort shine through in every detail.

I had the pleasure of dining at Golden Korean recently with my family, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive to all of us. The staff made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, which really made the night special.

As for the food, it was absolutely amazing. Every dish we tried was full of flavor, but the standout for me was the juicy pork lungs. They were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and so satisfying. It’s not every day you get to enjoy something so unique, and Golden Korean really nailed it.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience for my whole family, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and...

Had dinner here first time with hubby & son. Ordered spicy pork set, pork belly set, a seafood pancake and 5 pieces dumplings. Restaurant is clean & well kept which is welcoming. Quite noisy where a group of Korean men talking and laughing very loudly but luckily they left after we sat down 20 minutes later. Menu are quite limited but that's fine with us. Overall food we ordered are quite nice, spicy pork not spicy enough though but meat are juicy and succulent. Dumplings are delicious , crispy on the outside and juicy and fragrant on the inside. The seafood pancake however is quite a letdown because the center of the pancake is gluey wet due to batter not properly cooked.

Might return but not so soon as there are so many good Korean restaurants where we live and also...
