Okey Dokey Café & Bistro (Eight Mile Plains Brisbane) — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Today, I decided to try a meal as I work nearby and had been meaning to give the place a go. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the burger I ordered. The beef patty lacked flavour and quality—it honestly reminded me of something you'd get at a local footy canteen, not a café in a business centre charging $20. A more premium patty would make a world of difference in both taste and texture.

To be completely honest, even a basic burger from McDonald's would have been more satisfying today.

Great little Cafe, a hidden gem in fact which is nicely set amongst the cleanliness of the technology type business park, just off Miles Platting Road. The food was yummy. Had the burger and steak burger and both could not be faulted. Absolutely delicious! A refreshing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of shopping centres who offer the same old menu or other cafes set on main roads or footpaths. I believe this cafe is under new management so here’s hoping they continue the wonderful experience they currently display :) Definitely worth more...

Nice relaxing cafe out in Eight Mile Plains. Great place to get work done, and they even have a closed meeting room.

The menu is a wide selection, and they even have a bunch of baked treats (next time I have to get the cream puff). Also they have daily specials.

I went with the pancakes (which was actually a giant Hotcake). So fluffy and sweet, with so much delicious sweetness. And the Iced long black was exactly what I needed to start my day :)
