Thank you to the store staff for making each trip to this store great, the issues i raised here are not to do with you and i know you do your best to make the shopping experience great there, thanks and i really appreciate you guys :):):):)...
i recently spent some time with former staff to understand some of the reasons customers get bad produce and dairy that can't reach its used by date and i was surprised that they all commented on how abusive and aggressive the owners are to staff and how badly employees are treated there...
i was made aware that as they dont have the room to store everything in the fridge at rocklea so it sits unrefrigerated out the back and in particularly in summer that is why items go bad so quickly...
i have continually been getting out of date produce that goes rotten or mouldy within 3 days on average when stored correctly, sick of going back every week sometimes twice a week to get rotten items replaced that were purchased a few days ago...
there bulk nut section was completely infested with bugs, many things i got from them were placed in water proof and airtight containers get filled with bugs within a short space of time and then have to be disposed of including the containers,
store manager just replaces the item but doesn't do anything about the ongoing rotten produce thats for sale,
tried calling the owner, they refused to talk with me, then mentioned it to the store staff, they passed my details to the produce manager for the group who rang once from a private number and never left a message then never bothered to try again, got handed a generic email to send complaint to, not going to do that, it's there job to make the effort to contact customers, it's not my job, you get paid to do this i dont, the fact you didn't leave a message or try more than once to means you dont care at all and basically want complaints like this to get lost...
take a look at all the rotten items purchased within the last month or so as and see...
Read moreI used to shop at Market Organics quite regularly however what I have noticed is that there prices overall have started to increase. I now shop at Kaih as for an example they have Mayo for $12.95 compared to MO at $14.50. So my question to the checkout lady today was do you price match? She said that she would look into and that they do however did she offer me anything today??? Nope not a thing. She said she would look into it which is great however she did not take my number, no details at all. So I paid full price and got the brush off from your staff. Not good service at all. It is sad that what started so well is now becoming just as expensive as say Kunara on the Sunshine Coast. As someone who has owned businesses if you are not diligent to look after the customer, guess what they leave and you wonder why your business is declining. As you would be aware the buck has to stop with the owner, never the customer.
And lastly your new cafe is over-priced especially your desserts. $7-8 for a piece of cake or a cupcake that is absurd. I always wish any business owner the best as it takes courage and grit to own a business so I hope you use this review as a positive to fix what a customer is saying to you. In actuality I am giving you gold as I understand business so I am giving you real feedback. I sincerely hope you do something...
Read moreFreshest and best value herbs in Brisbane. Last week picked up the biggest bunches of fresh dill and sage. Aside from herbs there is a great range of products supplying many "hard to find items" and also a friendly cafe with healthy food options inside the store. Worth a visit if you like quality healthy organic and sustainable wholefoods. There is a bulk area with nuts and grains where you can try both local and imported product. We have often seen a product and never been game to try so starting out with a small amount makes it less daunting. This is also an interesting place to look for that special gift. We have both a mushroom kit through to beautiful smelling essential oils. The staff are extremely friendly knowledgeable and attentive. There is a loyalty program that rewards you each year when you have a birthday. It is so good to have a local family run retail store dedicated to healthy living. Parking can be harder on Rocklea Market days but there are a couple of parks out the front reserved for shoppers. One last thing is there is also a great family butcher next door with locally sourced meat that taste the way you remember meat used to taste like. Try their...
