I ordered a special bowl of pho and was extremely disappointed. The noodles were completely overcooked and broken apart â I couldn't even pick them up with chopsticks. Every attempt to grab a bite ended with the noodles falling apart, so I had to use a spoon instead. When I asked the server about it, they admitted the noodles were likely overcooked from being soaked too long. About five minutes later, they brought me a bowl of plain noodles and told me to add them into the soup myself. But my original bowl was already full â adding more noodles would have turned it into a soggy mess with no broth left. This solution didnât make any sense.
