They used to make very good cake and pie. Tiger roll and fairy bread is my favourite. Recently, it seems like frequently bought not fresh cake. One time I bought vanila slide, ( still cold like got from freeze, doesn’t smell good). Then today bought a fairy bread, the sultana tastes sour ( not sultana sour but- old bread taste. The icing sugar is watery. The tiger roll has eggy smell, not fresh, I bought it a lot before, I will know if the cake is fresh or not) somehow, I feel like this is not daily bake or freshly baked. So pity that their bakery was one of my favourite before. All changed now.

Went to get some macaroons for my kids, asked for the pink ones (one at the front bright pink) she gave me two from the back faded and discoloured… two macaroons = $5 they were off and disgusting had a weird smell. She refused to do anything about it so we threw them in the bin right there and went to Woolworths instead. Disgusting service, used to get their pies but not anymore who knows how long they’ve been sitting there….

It’s been a while since I’ve been here but still really good. Potato pie was tasty and had chunks of meat in it, the potato was cooked perfectly. The sausage roll was really tasty and had good meat to pastry ratio, it was twice as thick as any other sausage roll I’ve had. Not close enough to be my local but always good when passing through.

Most of the food is really good. I see many low ratings from people looking for end of day discounts. I've also seen complaints from people upset that the staff didn't respond to abuse. Seriously? If they were white Ausies like those across the road at banjos you would be laughed at. They throw most of it out before end of day so you can't even buy it at all. If you think staff should have good English maybe first learn the First nation Australian languages, given you lived here your whole life. You should never expect a discount because you came in at the end of the day. Many bakeries go broke with this because you scabby people just wait until they are about to close. One thing I would suggest for this bakery is to remove the food when it hits the point that you wouldn't want to be known for it. There have been dry things that should not be sold. There have also been cakes that below the quality they should be. In saying this I have had top quality food from here. The ciabata sandwiches are absolutely beautiful. Every bite full of salad and chicken. Not dry not wet. Absolute perfection. I've had beautiful cakes and turn overs. Just need some consistency. Consider asking if it's same day. And don't come at the end of day for discounts. They've always been polite but then again so have I. Yes I have returned food that didn't meet my standard. And they were totally cool with it. They also gave me a second item to say sorry. So maybe consider being respectful. Go across the road to banjos,...

I don't live in the area and when visit my friend will often stop in to get something in the morning. I stopped in the other day half an hour before closing and asked about the sausage rolls and if they had been sitting there all day to which the staff member replied "yes". They were dry and obviously has been there since start of business so I asked if I could have a discount knowing they were sitting all day and the staff member advised she couldn't discount but could offer me 2 spring roles for free if I bought 2 sausage rolls. I asked " Have they been there all day as well?". She replied " Yes". They too looked dry and awful. For the sake of a discount on the sausage rolls (which would need to be thrown out when the store closed, unless they were reheating them for the next day) they lost a sale and i will never buy food here again!! Greed for a sale on food that has sat there all day!! What a disgrace!! Ps. I see the owners don't give a damn as they don't bother to respond to the feedback posted and continue with poor quality products. I should send out work health and safety to check on the quality and hygiene of...
