I ordered the double bacon chicken burger, cheesy fries and banana milkshake. The service was good, friendly and efficient but the restaurant layout is not inviting and very stark. I know the business is only VERY new, so hopefully this will improve as it becomes more established. The fries were a good portion, nice and crunchy but very oily. The cheese and mayonnaise topping was spread well and tasted fine, but not exciting at all. The burger bun was chewy but not pleasantly so - a bit doughy. The buttermilk breast was about half the size of the burger bun; I had to cut it in half to cover the base and the buttermilk coating was not thick enough to cover the chicken breast adequately. The barbeque sauce was revoltingly salty and overpowered anything else about the burger and there was ALOT of it. I love pickles and removed the pickle to try it without the barbeque sauce and must say it was a very nice pickle. The banana milkshake was a generous size for a small, but sickly sweet. It didn't really taste like banana, only sugar syrup. I am very disappointed as I was hoping for an enjoyable local eatery only minutes from my house. Unfortunately, I won't likely be back any time soon but if the business is still running in a few months, I will try again once they've...
Read moreTaste was quite good with most of the flavour coming from an abundance of sauces. With no gluten free bun option, the burger insides were encased in lettuce leaves top and bottom; this did the job but was messy and detracted from the experience and flavour. The meat itself was 100% beef mince - which means no problem with any gluten-containing filler, as is often a problem with burgers. I found this ok, but boring. Personally, I would have preferred some spice or herb additions. Most of the menu options had "American cheese", which is barely a cheese and definitely not appealing; however, with the abundance of sauces there flavour was not affected. Visually, the presentation on a plain paper-lined metal tray was disappointing. For a $16 burger I would have expected something better. The redeeming factor was the freshly cooked chips (not flour coated, but cooked in the same oil as battered foods), although they came with no sauce and there were none on the table. None were offered during ordering, but that may have been an oversight. The serve of chips was quite small. This was a lunch meal at about 2pm, so there were few customers and so this may have influenced the...
Read moreMy housemate and I recently ordered via Doordash and I couldn't be more 🤢 disgusted. I ordered the California Burger and Cheesy chips. The tomato on the burger tasted off and like it had started to ferment, The avocado was equally as off, the chicken was covered in charcoal burn and was so dry I couldn't eat it, the Chips were covered in green and black spots and honestly, it has turned me off ordering from here again. Really disappointed. So much for dinner. Ugh 🤮 So not worth the $31 we paid for it all. Update: In response to "On It Burger", The negative reviews that you see are all warranted and I have nothing against small Businesses at all and actively give credit where credit is due which you would have noticed had you looked at more than just my Negative reviews. Food safety and Hygiene is something I take seriously as it effects peoples health and safety. I make zero apologies for an honest review. Just pointing out, you only changed your mind when you saw my other reviews, not because you're concerned about the Health and Safety of your customers, I think that says...
