Wow this establishment needs some major renovations and possibly new management. We came in for lunch and at first impression we were shocked. Food & rubbish all over the floor, every single table was filthy we had to actually ask someone to come wipe the table down so we could sit and eat. The drink fridges were locked so Iām assuming they have high theft still not a great look. Also there was a young gentleman sprawled out asleep in their dining room taking up 3 tables⦠he was there before and after we left (ate for about 20-30 minutes) again must be normal for the area but a very bad look as staff walked past him multiple times and did not bat an eye. I think the worst of it was that the whole place was a sauna, NO AIRCON!? in QLD thatās crazy. We were sitting there eating hot chicken and sweating like crazy. No outside seating to avoid the hot mess inside. Then the toilets were filthy aswell, no surprise. Toilet seat was discoloured and peeling, Iām sure there supposed to be changed but this one looks as though itās been used since the place open. $10 at Bunnings and an easy fix I guess management doesnāt care enough to take care of this place. Also one toilet for the whole restaurant, I donāt understand how this place hasnāt been shut down for health & safety violations. I will note the food and staff were lovely however the experience was completely killed by the atmosphere and condition of this restaurant. I got the q chic in a box then the small chips in a small box then they left the gravy off so I went back and said what's going on and where's my small gravy o sorry we only have pot and gravy because we are closing up. It was 7.15pm for heavens sake they don't close until 9pm. And why do I have a separate chips and none in the box because we are closing up again. What you couldn't just empty the small chips into the box with the chic, how it's supposed to be like. I hate pot and gravy. I just wanted small gravy. Where's the Gravy! For some reason there're people walking around looking at me standing at the counter 7mins later. No one was there they just Finnished the drive through and the delivery guys food and I'm still waiting there it did feel like 10 mins. 2nd review 26/08/23. Good day! Iāve already got the 6pcs chicken replacement from Inala Red Rooster for my previous order/complaint. And I ordered a large gravy ( my own expense) Just giving a quick feedback with my experience. Iāve spoken to a Lady ( Leticia if Iām not mistaken) and kindly told her my concern. Told me itās a 20mins wait and I said Iām happy to wait. And she repeatedly told me itās a 20mins wait. So I answered again that itās fine and Iāll just come back. But the way she responded and treated me was just so dispappointing and RUDE. I came back 25mins after and my replacement wasnāt ready but I still managed to let them know my concern again. And AGAIN I was given a rude approach and her talking to her co worker about whatās going on. I work in a Hospitality industry aswell and thatās not how you treat customers that have had a complaint about your service. Iām pretty disappointed really. LUCKILY, there was this another lady (who actually works in Forest lake Red Rooster) who happily helped me out and even APOLOGISED to how I was treated.
