Family owned business so I want to help them... Seen the advert on their shop of 'Acai' bowl and and thought that's what i was going to get - as pictured. When i asked for that order the staff said specifically what i will get and i should have stopped there ( what was said wasn't as described ). A few mins later, i received it with a lid and immediately opened to disappointment: it was runny ( they used water to fill the bowl ) is supposed to be frozen cold taste, not solid but whipped in a way that it doesn't move - more solid like a smoothie though. They used maybe 1 heaped teaspoon of granola, 2 strawberries, 15% acai & the rest water. Paid $10. You can get for $16 at most organic shops or have acai bowl as main menu and has everything ( apples, oranges, banana, yogurt, little nuts, berries , honey and much more ) presented attractively, is so cold and your full / satisfied when your finished. There is one of the cheapest fruit shops next to them in all of Brisbane, that has a quality more than the stars i give this review so no excuses.

Ordered a Gluten Free Eggs Benedict and a coffee. I called in advance to check if they had GF options, and they were lovely over the phone. Even reading out the ingredients on the sauce. Probably the first eggs Benny I’ve had with fried eggs, not poached. But the eggs were still nice and runny. Pretty basic without any spinach, or add on options. Was still very nice with a good amount of sauce. Can’t complain for the price as the whole thing cost only $12.50 with a coffee. Coffee was really good. And they brought out the food energetically with condiments.

Friendly staff. Part of shopping centre with plenty of parking space, and easy access to toilets. Uses coffee beans from Dancing Coffee Specialty Coffee Roaster. But that's all the good things about this cafe. There is no trained Batista. Staff has no idea what's the coffee beans inside. Coffee and Food are so so. Noisy bcos it's just next to Aldi with lots trolley passing by. And seats are right next to cars.

Made an already struggling day worse by going here. I had left the kids water bottles at home so grabbed a coffee and hoped to ask for a small takeaway cup for the kids to use instead. ā€œThat will be an additional chargeā€ I was told which I said yeah that’s fine. The total? $8 for a small coffee and empty cup. I Immediately said no that’s too much I’ll just have the coffee then. The young fellow said something and then handed me the eftpos machine which I used, until I realised HE CHARGED ME $8!! His excuse was that he didn’t hear me say no. I told him $4 for an empty cup was ridiculous I wanted my $4 back and he just, didn’t really know what to do. Offered me a hot chocolate in it instead. Like no mate I need water. So I told him to give me a water bottle from the fridge ($2), super frustrating because my 1 year old can’t really use a bottle without a sippy lid so she got pretty wet. He gave me one. I had to go back and get the second one so that they didn’t steal from me.

I gave an extra star cause the coffee was good

I took the other stars away because they charge $4 for...

All I wanted about mid morning was a takeaway muffin which was in a paper baking container. I was asked by an older lady with a very strong accent whether it's OK if she 'peeek eet up from the bottom'. I assumed she meant 'pick it up from the bottom' ... To which I replied... "That's fine as I don't eat the paper anyway". Some time later I was handed a HEATED muffin. I did not want it heated as I was going to be driving home and the muffin was for arvo tea. I told her this and she just shrugged. Had she offered to replace it I probably would have declined as obviously I had misunderstood her very strong accent. But all I got was a shrug. Anyway, I left but as this is the second time I've been disappointed there. The first was with a weak, nearly warm latter, even after I has asked if the coffee was a strong roast as I like my coffee strong. Sadly I won't be going back. I know many people might just laugh and not worry about it... But when I'm trying hard to budget and then allow myself some small treats, I'd prefer the treats to be what...
