Putrid staff and experience, it was a dead Fathers Day, Sunday night and I came to Eat St specifically to eat oysters as I always do. This time I came up to the oyster bar and when looking at the oysters I noticed 1 out of the 6 in the Jumbo pack looked to be out of quality. We were buy 2 Dozen, I'm also a Chef by trade and quality means everything, especially if you're paying large amount. So anyways I asked the Gentleman if he could politely change 1 oyster out for another Jumbo as this oyster looked horrible, like it was dead over few days and they were just sneakily trying to palm it off to everyone. We all know bad seafood can make you very sick. Anyways the young man who served us refused to change the oyster saying if they did this for every customer then they would have too many bad ones? My question is, How is that the customers fault that you're selling bad quality oysters? if I pay money for 6 jumbo oysters, I want all of them consistent. If its not up to quality then sell them at a separate section. Its not the customers fault we are the ones who's spending our hard EARNED money on them. So anyways instead of this person compensating us for the 1 oyster he told us basically to go away and he did not need to sell to us. I mean we were prepared to get 2 Dozen oysters and for a dead night you would think they would value a customer and their money who always comes to Eat St just for the oysters. I guess their ego is much more important than satisfying a regular customer. Never ever going back I rather travel 2 hours to look for good oysters then ever come back here and get told to go away. We paid $24 for me and my family just to come in here at the gate and be disappointed. Thanks for ruining my fathers day because your poorly trained staff didn't want to change 1 oyster out and make your company an additional $84 for a dead night. Thank you for not showing every customer they...
Read morePaid $5 entry fee to taste the oysters. Jumbo is $3.5 each. Very disappointed. They put the big ones in the front for display but when they pick the ones for me that’s really small same size as the ones that’s $2. I have photo of it. That’s a bit...
