Visited the dog park with my dog Mabel. Theres plenty of parking that's shared with the boat ramp and jetty, that may be busier on the weekend. It's a decent size, room for zoomies and has some tree cover. There's a few bits of equipment for activities, A-frame ramp, weaving posts, 3 little hurdles, a short tunnel etc. There's a few benches for the Humans too. I went as it got dark and unfortunately there's lighting. The nearby sports complex was operating and it's large stadium lights weren't directly lighting the dog park but were adding a bit of ambient light which i think helped a bit. 2 other dog owners came and left while i was there, so it's not busy after dark, but possibly not completely abandoned for long either. One corner is muddy after the weather we've had, which stopped a pair of dogs from being allowed to enter. As with most places after rain and in the dark, there were mozzies, so wear long pants and sleeves or...

I go here once a week with my client, we do hydrotherapy with the physio. It is a very well set out recreation area, and there is something for everyone, even babies, the elderly and people with disabilities, everyone is welcome. It does get busy at times, so you want to pick the right time so it's not to over crowded. All the staff are polite and helpful and everyone is respectful to each other. It would be good if they had a bigger variety of snacks, hot and cold and a larger range, we wanted to get two toasted sandwiches but there were only two and they weren't able to make another, I understand food isn't their focus but it would be nice and I think you'd get the customers! And how good would a milkshake be!! It is somewhat unclear as to which facilitates people are able to use, what is booked and what is free for all. Overall this is a really nice place and perfect for anyone, clean and friendly, I would definately...

This place is the bomb if your wanting to take your dog for a walk or swim. I have a frenchie and he goes crazy for the beach. It was a blast he ran along the beach and through the water on high tide it’s perfect whereas low tide there’s lots of sticks and rocks and rubbish that washes up. I made sure to pop what rubbish I did find in the bin. There’s a dog park, childrens playground with a wheelchair swing. There’s a large field separate from everything that’s perfect for picnics cricket, fetch and it’s like the size of a football field with trees around the edges of the field. There’s views of lovely Hamilton and...

Nice park. Good double width boat ramp with pontoon on the Brisbane River. Very popular. 4 large covered picnic tables. Small sandy beach. Dog park facilities. Don't rely on BBQ facilities. Went there to have a BBQ & only 1 of 2 electric BBQ hot plates were working & very very slow & located under a tree & subject to bird droppings as family before us found out when their food cooking got bombed! Cruise ship departed nearby which was fun to watch at low tide. People fish off the jetty though wouldn't recommend eating anything caught from the river. Toilet onsite

I liked this small Brisbane River fronting park which we discovered during our Sunday morning bike ride. Narrow recreation reserve with a long access drive off Lytton Road. Being set back from the road and along the river foreshore it feels peaceful and removed from the heavy Lytton Road traffic. Picnic style cover tables and bench seats, toilets and a play area. Reserve includes a short recreational jetty out onto the river. Plenty of parking when we visited, access for bikes not as good (Lytton Road is very busy).

State of the art sports facility. Including field hockey, cricket and swimming to name a few. At the hockey venue there is a canteen and for bigger events there is usually a specialist food vendor or two. The field is a water based synthetic turf. Plenty of parking available with disabled access. The toilets are well maintained. A good venue all round.
