Sonny's — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I went in for the first time. they were nice at first. I was still deciding what I wanted. however as I was about to order my headphones died and I had to hang up my phone call with my Nana. the. person seemed annoyed on counter for this even though I apologised. I ordered my food and waited. wait times were good for a toasted banana bread. however when I got it I had to leave to get the train.

As I started to eat it started to taste incredible icky and spicy. I flipped the cut up bread in half to notice all this weird stuff below it. I’m not sure what it is. but it sure as hell was cross contamination and disgusting. I wasn’t able to finish my food as it felt like my mouth was on fire. I tried to call up the restaurant to let them know how we the number didn’t work. I don’t often eat out at new places as I’m scared for these things to happen. Updated: Sonny's has updated their process to consistently write the order on the sides of the cups which is so very appreciated as a regular with an intolerance who has a specific order. Appreciate them taking on the feedback so much and serving such great coffee.
