Red Rooster Cannon Hill — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I came to get just a rooster roll meal deal. Upon walking into the driveway all I can smell is um emptied bins. Smelt like a dump, the car park is a mess, you have branches, and rubbish laying over the entrances.

You’s were filling a catering order and pushed my meal out quickly. I ended up with salmonella poisoning and was sick for the past week.

You walk past a bin it smells like a dead rat, the lawns aren’t cut. It looks like a bogan restaurant. I’ll never be eating or visiting again. This isn’t the first time, I’ve been going past there for the last few months and the place has only looked worse and worse each time. The staff are great. But you obviously don’t practice cross...

One word. Horrendous! Our first time in 6 years we decided to have red rooster. Placed the order online at 4:00pm for delivery at 5:03pm, it was delivered at 4:15pm we live 10min drive so it must have been thrown together in 5 min. Everything was so laced with salt even my 2yr old son regected the food. The chicken was so bathed in BBQ sauce (cold by the way) a high pressure washer would struggle to spray it off. We all tried a couple of bits and the entire "big feast" was binned. Sufficed to say it has only asserted my resolve to never try it again for at least another 6 years....

I went through the drive through at 7:40pm on Tuesday 19/04/22 and ordered a half roast chicken. I was advised it is $8.45 and I said on the Red Rooster website it's $7.95. The girl at the window went and spoke to the manager who had a smug look on his face. The girl came back to the window and said that they've put their prices up but haven't updated the website. Even though it's 50c it's principle - they should've honored the price of the chicken on the website this once, but they didn't. It's not good business practice. Very poor service, I will...
